5: useless disputations corrupting [G1311] of men the [G3588] mind [G3563], and [G2532] depriving of the [G3588] truth , to think [G3543] revenue [G4200] to be the [G3588] piety [G2150] -- separate from the [G3588] such [G5108]!
6: But there is [G1161] revenue [G4200] great [G3173] the [G3588] piety [G2150] with [G3326] sufficiency .
7: nothing [G3762] For [G1063] we have carried [G1533] into [G1519] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889], [and it is] manifest [G1212] that [G3754] not even [G3761] to bring forth anything [G1627][G5100] are we able [G1410].
8: But having [G2192][G1161] nourishment [G1305] and [G2532] shelters [G4629], with this [G3778] we will be sufficient .
9: But the [G3588] [ones] [G1161] wanting [G1014] to be rich [G4147], they fall [G1706] into [G1519] test [G3986] and [G2532] a snare [G3803], and [G2532] desires [G1939] many [G4183] unthinking and [G2532] hurtful , which [G3748] submerge [G1036] the [G3588] men into [G1519] ruin [G3639] and [G2532] destruction .
10: For a root [G4491][G1063] of all [G3956] the [G3588] evils [G2556] is the [G3588] fondness of money [G5365], of which [G3739] some [G5100] reaching for [G3713] were led astray from the [G3588] trust '[G4102], and [G2532] pierced themselves on all sides [G1438][G4044] griefs [G3601] with many [G4183].
11: But you [G1473][G1161], O [G3739] man of the [G3588] God '[G2316], flee these [things] [G3778][G5343]! And pursue [G1377][G1161] righteousness [G1343], piety [G2150], trust '[G4102], love , endurance [G5281], cooperativeness [G4236]!
12: Struggle the [G3588] good [G2570] struggle of the [G3588] trust '[G4102]! Take hold [G1949] of of the [G3588] term (age) ' life [G2222]! in [G1519] which [G3739] also [G2532] you were called [G2564], and [G2532] acknowledged [G3670] the [G3588] good [G2570] acknowledgment [offering [G3671] before [G1799] many [G4183] witnesses [G3144].

20: O [G5599] Timothy, the [G3588] deposit in your care [G3872] guard [G5442]! turning aside from [G1624] the [G3588] profane idle talk [G2757], and [G2532] oppositions of the [G3588] lyingly named [G5581] knowledge [G1108];
21: which [G3739] some [G5100] promising [G1861] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] trust '[G4102], missed the aim . the [G3588] favor [be [G5484] with [G3326] you [G1473]. Amen .
