1: We should fear [G5399] then [G3767], lest at any time [G3379], being left behind [G2641] of promise [G1860] to enter [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] his rest [G2663][G1473], should seem [G1380] any [G5100] of [G1537] you [G1473] to fail [G5302].
2: For even [G2532][G1063] we are being good-word-conveyed '[G2097], just as [G2509] those also [G2548]; but did not [G3756] benefit [G5623] the [G3588] word [G3056] of the [G3588] report those [G1565], not [G3361] being mixed together [G4786] in the [G3588] trust '[G4102] to the [G3588] [ones] having heard .
3: For we entering [G1525][G1063] into [G1519] the [G3588] rest [G2663], the [G3588] [ones] having trusted '[G4100], as [G2531] he has said [G2046], As [G5613] I swore by an oath [G3660] in [G1722] the [G3588] my wrath [G3709][G1473], will they [G1487] enter [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] my rest, [no [G2663][G1473]; and yet [G2543] the [G3588] works [G2041] from founding [G2602] of arrangement '[G2889] were taking place [G1096].
4: For he has said [G2046][G1063] somewhere [G4225] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] seventh [day [G1442], thus [G3779], And [G2532] God rested [G2664] the [G3588][G2316] in [G1722] the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] seventh [G1442] from all [G3956] the [G3588] his works [G2041][G1473].
5: And [G2532] in [G1722] this [place] [G3778] again [G3825], will they [G1487] enter [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] my rest, [no [G2663][G1473].
6: Since [G1893] then [G3767] it leaves some [G5100] to enter [G1525] into [G1519] it [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] prior [G4387] having been good-word-conveyed '[G2097], did not [G3756] enter [G1525] because of [G1223] disobedience ;

9: Then [there] is left a Sabbath [rest [G4520] to the [G3588] people [G2992] of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
10: For the [G3588] [one] [G1063] entering [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] his rest [G2663][G1473], himself also [G2532][G1473] rested [G2664] from the [G3588] his works [G2041][G1473], as [G5618] from the [G3588] [ones] of his own [G2398] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
11: We should hurry [G4704] then [G3767] to enter [G1525] into [G1519] that [G1565] the [G3588] rest [G2663], lest [G2443][G3361] in [G1722] the [G3588] same [G1473] anyone [G5100] example [G5262] should fall [G4098] the [G3588] of disobedience .
12: [is] living [G2198] For [G1063] the [G3588] word [G3056] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] active [G1756], and [G2532] sharper [G5114] than [G5228] any [G3956] sword [G3162] double-edged [G1366], and [G2532] penetrating [G1338] as far as distribution [G3311] of both soul [G5590][G5037] and [G2532] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151], also of joints [G5037] and [G2532] marrows [G3452], and [G2532] [is] a discerner [G2924] of thinking [G1761] and [G2532] reflections [G1771] of heart [G2588].
13: And [G2532] there not [G3756] is a creation [G2937] unapparent before [G1799] him [G1473]; but all [G3956][G1161] [are] naked [G1131] and [G2532] laid bare [G5136] [to the [G3588] his eyes [G3788][G1473], to [G4314] whom [G3739] [is] to us [G1473] the [G3588] reckoning [G3056].
14: Having [G2192] then [G3767] chief priest a great [G3173] having gone through [G1330] the [G3588] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772] (Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] God, [G2316]) let us keep [G2902] the [G3588] confession [G3671].
15: For not [G3756][G1063] do we have [G2192] a chief priest not [G3361] being able [G1410] to sympathize [G4834] in the [G3588] our weaknesses [G1473], but one having been tested [G3985][G1161] in [G2596] all [things] [G3956] according to [G2596] [our] likeness [G3665], separate from [G5565] sin .
16: Let us come forward [G4334] then [G3767] with [G3326] confidence [G3954] to the [G3588] throne [G2362] of the [G3588] favor [G5484], that [G2443] we should receive [G2983] compassion [G1656], and [G2532] favor [G5484] should find [G2147] for [G1519] opportune [G2121] help .
