1: said [G2036] And [G1161] the [G3588] chief priest , Do [G1487] then these [things] [G3778] so [G3779] hold to [G2192]?
2: the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G5346], Men , brothers , and [G2532] fathers [G3962], hearken ! the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588] glory [G1391] appeared [G3708] [to the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473] Abraham, being in [G1722] the [G3588] Mesopotamia before [G4250][G2228] his dwelling [G2730][G1473] in [G1722] Haran.
3: And [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473], Go forth [G1831] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] your land '[G1093][G1473] and [G2532] from [G1537] the [G3588] your kin [G4772][G1473], and [G2532] come [G1204] into [G1519] a land '[G1093] which [G3739] I show to you [G1473][G1166]!
4: Then [G5119] having gone forth [G1831] from [G1537] land '[G1093] of the Chaldeans, he dwelt [G2730] in [G1722] Haran. And from there [G2547], after [G3326] the [G3588] dying of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], he displaced [G3351] him [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] this land '[G1093][G3778] into [G1519] which [G3739] you [G1473] now [G3568] dwell [G2730].
5: And [G2532] he did not [G3756] give [G1325] to him [G1473] an inheritance [G2817] in [G1722] it [G1473], nor [G3761] stool a foot [G4228]; and [G2532] he promised [G1861] to give [G1325] to him [G1473] for [G1519] a possession [G2697] it [G1473], and [G2532] [to the [G3588] his seed [G4690][G1473] after [G3326] him [G1473], there not [G3756] being a child to him [G1473][G5043].
6: spoke [G2980] And [G1161] thus [G3779] the [G3588] God '[G2316], that [G3754] will be the [G3588] seed [G4690] of him [G1473] a sojourner [G3941] in [G1722] land '[G1093] an alien , and [G2532] they will enslave [G1402] it [G1473], and [G2532] inflict evil [G2559] years [G2094] [for] four hundred [G5071].
7: And [G2532] the [G3588] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] which [G3739] ever [G1437] will enslave [them [G1398] I will judge [G2919][G1473], said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316]. And [G2532] after [G3326] these [things] [G3778] they will come forth [G1831], and [G2532] will serve [G3000] to me [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778].
8: And [G2532] he gave [G1325] to him [G1473] a covenant [G1242] of circumcision [G4061]; and [G2532] thus [G3779] he engendered [G1080] the [G3588] Isaac, and [G2532] circumcised [G4059] him [G1473] the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] eighth [G3590]; and [G2532] the [G3588] Isaac [engendered the [G3588] Jacob, and [G2532] the [G3588] Jacob the [G3588] twelve [G1427] patriarchs [G3966].
9: And [G2532] the [G3588] patriarchs [G3966], envying [G2206] the [G3588] Joseph, rendered [him into [G1519] Egypt; and [G2532] God was the [G3588][G2316] with [G3326] him [G1473],
10: and [G2532] delivered [G1807] him [G1473] from out of [G1537] all [G3956] the [G3588] his afflictions [G2347][G1473], and [G2532] gave [G1325] to him [G1473] favor [G5484] and [G2532] wisdom [G4678] before [G1726] Pharaoh king of Egypt. And [G2532] he placed [G2525] him [G1473] as leader [G2233] over [G1909] Egypt and [G2532] whole [G3650] the [G3588] house [G3624] of him '[G1473].
11: And there came [G2064][G1161] a famine [G3042] upon [G1909] entire [G3650] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Egypt and [G2532] Canaan, and [G2532] affliction [G2347] great [G3173], and [G2532] did not [G3756] find [G2147] fodder [G5527] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473].
12: hearing And [G1161] Jacob] [of their] being grain [G4621] in [G1722] Egypt, sent forth [G1821] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473] a first [time] [G4412].
13: And [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] second [time] [G1208] Joseph made himself known [to the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473]; and [G2532] apparent [G5318] became [G1096] the [G3588] to Pharaoh the [G3588] family [G1085] of the [G3588] Joseph].
14: having sent And [G1161] Joseph], called back [G3333] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] Jacob, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] his kin [G4772][G1473], in [total [G1722] souls [G5590] seventy [G1440] five [G4002].
15: went down [G2597] And [G1161] Jacob] unto [G1519] Egypt, and [G2532] came to an end [G5053] he [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473].
16: And [G2532] they were transferred [G3346] unto [G1519] Shechem, and [G2532] were put [G5087] in [G1722] the [G3588] tomb [G3418] which [G3739] Abraham purchased [G5608] for a value [G5092] of silver from [G3844] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Emmor the [G3588] of Shechem.
17: And as [G2531][G1161] approached [G1448] the [G3588] time [G5550] of the [G3588] promise [G1860] of which [G3739] God swore by an oath [G3660] the [G3588][G2316] [to the [G3588] Abraham, grew the [G3588] people [G2992] and [G2532] multiplied [G4129] in [G1722] Egypt,
18: until of which [time] [G3739] there rose up king another [G2087] who [G3739] knew not [G3756][G1492] the [G3588] Joseph.
19: This one [G3778] having dealt subtly with [G2686] the [G3588] our race [G1085][G1473], inflicted evil upon [G2559] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473], the [G3588] to make [them [G4160] expose [G1570] the [G3588]ir babies [G1025][G1473], so that [G1519] the [G3588]y should not [G3361] be brought forth alive [G2225].
20: In [G1722] which [G3739] time [G2540] Moses was born [G1080], and [G2532] was fair tO the [G3588] God '[G2316], who [G3739] was reared months [G3376] three [G5140] in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473].
21: being exposed [G1620] And [G1161] he [G1473], took him up [G1473] the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Pharaoh], and [G2532] reared him [G1473] herself [G1438] for [G1519] a son [G5207].
22: And [G2532] Moses was instructed [G3811] in all [G3956] wisdom [G4678] of Egyptians; and he was [G1161] mighty [G1415] in [G1722] words [G3056] and [G2532] in [G1722] works [G2041].
23: And as [G5613][G1161] was filled up [G4137] to him [G1473] forty years [G5063] of time [G5550], it went up unto [G1909] the [G3588] his heart [G2588][G1473] to visit [G1980] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
24: And [G2532] looking [at] [G1492] a certain one [G5100] being wronged , he defended and [G2532] executed [G4160] vengeance [G1557] for the [G3588] [one] being harassed [G2669], having struck [G3960] the [G3588] Egyptian.
25: And he thought [G3543][G1161] would perceive [G4920] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] that [G3754] the [G3588] God '[G2316] through [G1223] his hand [G5495][G1473] is giving [G1325] deliverance to them [G1473][G4991]; the [G3588] but [G1161] they perceived not [G3756][G4920].
26: And the [G3588][G5037] following [G1966] day [G2250] he appeared [G3708] to ones [G1473] doing combat [G3164], and [G2532] he forced [G4900] them [G1473] to [G1519] peace [G1515], having said [G2036], Men , brothers you are [G1473], why [G2444] wrong one another ?
27: But the [G3588] [one] [G1161] wronging the [G3588] neighbor [G4139], thrust him away [G1473], having said [G2036], Who [G5100] placed you [G1473][G2525] ruler and [G2532] magistrate [G1348] over [G1909] us [G1473]?
28: Do [G3361] to do away with me [G1473] you want [G1473][G2309], in which [G3739] manner [G5158] you did away with the Egyptian yesterday [G5504] the [G3588]?
29: And Moses fled [G5343][G1161] at [G1722] the [G3588] this word [G3056][G3778], and [G2532] became [G1096] a sojourner [G3941] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Midian, of which [place] [G3739] he engendered [G1080] sons [G5207] two [G1417].
30: And [G2532] being fulfilled [G4137] years [G2094] forty [G5062], there appeared [G3708] to him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] of the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Sinai a word-conveyer (messenger) ' of Boss '[G2962] in [G1722] a flame [G5395] of fire [G4442] of a bush .
31: the [G3588] And [G1161] Moses looking [at] [G1492], marvelled at [G2296] the [G3588] vision [G3705]. coming forward [G4334] And [G1161] of of him '[G1473] to study [it [G2657], there came [G1096] voice [G5456] of Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] him, [saying [G1473],
32: I [am [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473], the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Abraham, and [G2532] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Isaac, and [G2532] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Jacob. trembling [G1790] And [G1161] having become [G1096] Moses] did not [G3756] dare [G5111] to study [it [G2657].
33: said [G2036] And [G1161] to him [G1473] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], Untie [G3089] the [G3588] sandal [G5266] of the [G3588] your feet [G4228][G1473]! for the [G3588][G1063] place [G5117] in [G1722] which [G3739] you stand [G2476] land '[G1093] is pure '.
34: In looking [at] [G1492], I saw [G1492] the [G3588] ill-treatment [G2561] of the [G3588] my people [G2992][G1473] the [G3588] in [G1722] Egypt, and [G2532] the [G3588]ir moaning [G4726][G1473] I heard , and [G2532] I came down [G2597] to rescue [G1807] them [G1473]. And [G2532] now [G3568] come [G1204], I will send you [G1473] to [G1519] Egypt.
35: This [G3778] the [G3588] Moses whom [G3739] they denied , having said [G2036], Who [G5100] placed you [G1473][G2525] ruler and [G2532] magistrate [G1348]? This one [G3778] the [G3588] God '[G2316] [as] ruler and [G2532] ransomer [G3086] sent by [G1722] hand [G5495] of word-conveyer (messenger) ', of the [G3588] [one] appearing [G3708] to him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] bush .
36: This one [G3778] led them out [G1806][G1473], having done [G4160] miracles [G5059] and [G2532] signs [G4592] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Egypt, and [G2532] in [G1722] red [G2063] sea [G2281], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] years [G2094] forty [G5062].
37: This [G3778] is the [G3588] Moses, the [G3588] [one] having said [G2036] to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, a prophet [G4396] to you [G1473] will raise up Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] your brothers [G1473] as [G5613] me [G1473].
38: This [G3778] is the [G3588] [one] being [G1096] among [G1722] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] with [G3326] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ', the [G3588] [one] speaking [G2980] to him [G1473] on [G1722] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Sinai, and [G2532] of the [G3588] [ones] of our fathers [G3962][G1473]; who [G3739] received [G1209] oracles [G3051] living [G2198] to give [G1325] to us [G1473];
39: to whom [G3739] did not want [G3756][G2309] subjects [G5255] to become [G1096] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473], but thrust [him] away , and [G2532] turned [G4762] the [G3588]ir hearts [G2588][G1473] unto [G1519] Egypt,
40: having said [G2036] the [G3588] to Aaron, Make [G4160] us [G1473] gods '[G2316] who [G3739] will go before [G4313] us [G1473]; for the [G3588] [G1063] this Moses [G3778] who [G3739] led us out [G1806][G1473] of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, we know not [G3756][G1492] what [G5100] has happened [G1096] to him [G1473].
41: And [G2532] they made a calf image [G3447] in [G1722] the [G3588] those days [G2250][G1565], and [G2532] led up a sacrifice [G2378] to the [G3588] idol [G1497], and [G2532] made merry [G2165] in [G1722] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588]ir hands [G5495][G1473].
42: turned [G4762] And [G1161] the [G3588] God '[G2316] and [G2532] delivered them up [G3860][G1473] to serve [G3000] the [G3588] military [G4756] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]; as [G2531] it has been written [G1125] in [G1722] book of the [G3588] prophets [G4396], Did you not [G3361] victims for slaughter [G4968] and [G2532] sacrifices [G2378] offer [G4374] to me [G1473] years [G2094] [for] forty [G5062] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048], O house [G3624] of Israel?
43: And [G2532] you take up the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] Molech, and [G2532] the [G3588] star of the [G3588] your god [G2316][G1473] Remphan, the [G3588] models [G5179] of which [G3739] you made [G4160] to do obeisance to [G4352] them [G1473]; and [G2532] I will displace [G3351] you [G1473] beyond [G1900] Babylon.
44: The [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142] was [with] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048], as [G2531] set in order [G1299] [by] the [G3588] [one] speaking [G2980] to the [G3588] Moses, to make [G4160] it [G1473] according to [G2596] the [G3588] model [G5179] which [G3739] he had seen [G3708].
45: Which [G3739] also [G2532] brought in [G1521] relieving [G1237] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473] after [G3326] Joshua in [G1722] the [G3588] taking possession [G2697] of the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], whom [G3739] God pushed out [G1856] the [G3588][G2316] from in front [G4383] of the [G3588] fathers [G3962] of us [G1473], until [G2193] the [G3588] days [G2250] of David;
46: who [G3739] found [G2147] favor [G5484] before [G1799] the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] asked to find [G2147] a tent [G4638] for the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Jacob.
47: But Solomon [G1161] built [G3618] to him [G1473] a house [G3624].
48: But does not [G3756] the [G3588] highest [G5310] in [G1722] made by hands [G5499] temples [G3485] dwell [G2730]; as [G2531] the [G3588] prophet [G4396] says [G3004],
49: The [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] [is] my [G1473] throne [G2362], and the [G3588][G1161] land '[G1093] a footstool [G5286] for the [G3588] my feet [G4228][G1473]; what [G4169] house [G3624] will you build [G3618] to me [G1473]? says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], or [G2228] what [G5100] place [G5117] for the [G3588] my rest [G2663][G1473]?
50: Did not [G3780] the [G3588] my hand [G5495][G1473] make [G4160] all these [things] [G3778][G3956]?
51: O hard-necked [G4644] and [G2532] uncircumcised the [G3588] in heart [G2588] and [G2532] the [G3588] ears [G3775], you [G1473] continually the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of the [G3588] [one] pure ' rush headlong against ; as [G5613] the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473], [so] also [G2532] you [G1473].
52: Which [G5100] of the [G3588] prophets [G4396] not [G3756] pursue [G1377] the [G3588] did your fathers [G3962][G1473]? And [G2532] they killed the [G3588] [ones] preannouncing [G4293] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] advent [G1660] of the [G3588] just [one [G1342]; of whom [G3739] you now [G3568][G1473] betrayers [G4273] and [G2532] murderers [G5406] have become [G1096].
53: Who [G3748] received [G2983] the [G3588] law [G3551] by [G1519] disposition [G1296] of word-conveyers (messengers) ', and [G2532] kept [it] not [G3756][G5442].
54: And hearing [G1161] these [things] [G3778], they were sawed through [G1282] [in the [G3588]ir hearts [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] gnashed [G1031] [their the [G3588] teeth [G3599] against [G1909] him [G1473].
55: And being [G5224][G1161] full [G4134] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of pure ', having gazed into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], he looked [at] [G1492] glory [G1391] of God '[G2316], and [G2532] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) standing [G2476] at [G1537] right [G1188] of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
56: And [G2532] he said [G2036], look [G2400], I view [G2334] the [G3588] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772] being opened , and [G2532] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man at [G1537] right [G1188] standing [G2476] the [G3588] of God '[G2316].
57: And crying out [G2896][G1161] voice [G5456] with a great [G3173], they held [G4912] the [G3588]ir ears [G3775][G1473], and [G2532] advanced [G3729] with one accord [G3661] against [G1909] him [G1473].
58: And [G2532] having cast [him [G1544] outside [G1854] the [G3588] city [G4172], they stoned [him [G3036]. And [G2532] the [G3588] witnesses [G3144] put aside the [G3588]ir garments [G2440][G1473] by [G3844] the [G3588] feet [G4228] of a young man [G3494], being called [G2564] Saul.
59: And [G2532] they stoned [G3036] the [G3588] Stephen, one calling upon [G1941] and [G2532] saying [G3004], O Boss '[G2962] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), receive [G1209] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of me [G1473]!
60: And having placed [G5087][G1161] the [G3588] knees [G1119], he cried out [G2896] voice [G5456] a great [G3173], O Boss '[G2962], you should not [G3361] set [G2476] to them [G1473] the [G3588] this sin [G3778]. And [G2532] this [G3778] having said [G2036], he went to sleep [G2837].
