Jeremiah Chapter 27 - | Early Church Bible

1: In [G1722] beginning of the [G3588] government ' of Jehoiakim son [G5207] of Josiah king of Judah came to pass [G1096] the [G3588] this word [G4487][G3778] to [G4314] Jeremiah from [G3844] Boss '[G2962], saying [G3004],
2: Thus [G3779] said [G2036] Boss '[G2962], Make [G4160] to yourself [G4572] bonds [G1199] and [G2532] collars , and [G2532] put [them [G4060] around [G4012] the [G3588] your neck [G5137][G1473]!
3: And [G2532] you will send them [G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] king of Edom, and [G2532] to [G4314] king of Moab, and [G2532] to [G4314] the [G3588] king of sons [G5207] of Ammon, and [G2532] to [G4314] the [G3588] king of Tyre, and [G2532] to [G4314] king of Sidon, by [G1722] hands [G5495] of their word-conveyers (messengers) '[G1473], of the [G3588] [ones] coming [G2064] in [G1722] Jerusalem to [G4314] Zedekiah king of Judah.
4: And [G2532] you will order [G4929] them [G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588]ir bosses [G2962][G1473] to say [G2036], Thus [G3779] said [G2036] Boss '[G2962] of for the [G3588]ces [G1411], the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel; Thus [G3779] you will say [G2046] to [G4314] the [G3588] your bosses [G2962][G1473],
5: I [G1473] made [G4160] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] the [G3588] men , and [G2532] the [G3588] cattle [G2934], the [G3588] [ones] upon [G1909] face [G4383] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], by [G1722] the [G3588] strength [G2479] my [G1473] the [G3588] great [G3173] and [G2532] by [G1722] the [G3588] arm [G1023] my [G1473] the [G3588] high [G5308], and [G2532] I will give [G1325] it [G1473] [to] whom [G3739] ever it seems [fit [G1380] in [G1722] my eyes [G3788][G1473].
6: And [G2532] now [G3568] I [G1473] gave [G1325] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093] [to the [G3588] Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to serve [G1398] to him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342] of the [G3588] field to work [G2038] for him [G1473].
7: And [G2532] [to the [G3588] his son [G5207], and [G2532] to the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473], unto [G2193] the [G3588] coming [G2064] time [G2540] of the [G3588] his land '[G1093], and [G2532] also [G1065] of him [G1473]. And [G2532] will serve [G1398] to him [G1473] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] many [G4183], and [G2532] kings great [G3173].
8: And [G2532] the [G3588] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484], and [G2532] the [G3588] government ', as many [G3745] as should not serve [G3361][G1398] Nebuchadnezzar king of the [G3588] Babylon, and [G2532] as many [G3745] as should not put [G3361][G1685] the [G3588]ir neck [G5137][G1473] under [G5259] the [G3588] yoke [G2218] of king of Babylon, by [G1722] sword [G3162], and [G2532] by [G1722] pestilence [G3061], and [G2532] by [G1722] famine [G3042] I will visit [G1980] them [G1473], said [G2036] Boss '[G2962], until [G2193] they should falter [G1587] by [G1722] his hand [G5495].
9: And [G2532] you [G1473], hearken not to [G3361] the [G3588] your lying prophets [G5578][G1473]! and [G2532] of the [G3588] [ones] using oracles [G3132] for you [G1473], and [G2532] of the [G3588] [ones] dreaming [G1797] to you [G1473], and [G2532] of the [G3588] [ones] of your omens [G1473], and [G2532] of the [G3588] [ones] of your administers of potions [G5333][G1473], saying [G3004], In no way should you work [G2038] for the [G3588] king of Babylon.
10: For [G3754] a lie [G5571] they [G1473] prophesy [G4395] to you [G1473], to [G4314] the [G3588] distance you [G1473] from the [G3588] your land '[G1093][G1473], and [G2532] that [G2443] I should cast you out [G1544][G1473], and [G2532] you will perish .
11: And [G2532] the [G3588] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] which [G3739] ever should bring [G1521] the [G3588] its neck [G5137][G1473] under [G5259] the [G3588] yoke [G2218] of king of Babylon, and [G2532] should work [G2038] for him [G1473], I will leave it [G2641][G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] its land '[G1093][G1473], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] it will work [G2038] her [G1473], and [G2532] it will dwell [G1774] in [G1722] her [G1473].
12: And [G2532] to [G4314] Zedekiah king of Judah I spoke [G2980] according to [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588] words [G3056] these [G3778], saying [G3004], Bring [G1521] the [G3588] your neck [G5137][G1473] under [G5259] yoke [G2218] of the [G3588] king of Babylon,
13: and [G2532] work [G2038] for him [G1473] and [G2532] [for the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473]! and [G2532] you will live [G2198]. Why [G2444] should you die [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] by [G1722] sword [G3162], and [G2532] by [G1722] famine [G3042], and [G2532] by [G1722] pestilence [G3061], as [G5613] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] against [G2596] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], which [G3739] served not [G3756][G1398] to the [G3588] king of Babylon?
14: You should not hearken to [G3361] the [G3588] words [G4487] of the [G3588] prophets [G4396] saying [G3004] to you [G1473], You should not [G3361] serve [G1398] to the [G3588] king of Babylon; for [G3754] unjustly they [G1473] prophesy [G4395] to you [G1473].
15: I did not [G3756] send them [G1473], says [G5346] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] they prophesy [G4395] [in the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473][G1909] unjustly for [G4314] the [G3588] destroying you [G1473]. And [G2532] you will perish [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your prophets [G4396][G1473], the [G3588] [ones] prophesying [G4395] to you [G1473] by [G1909] an unjust lie [G5571].
16: And [G2532] to the [G3588] priests [G2409] and [G2532] to all [G3956] the [G3588] this people [G2992][G3778] I spoke [G2980], saying [G3004], Thus [G3779] said [G2036] Boss '[G2962], Do not [G3361] hearken to the [G3588] words [G3056] of the [G3588] prophets [G4396] the [G3588] prophesying [G4395] to you [G1473]! saying [G3004], look [G2400], items [G4632] of house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962] will return [G1994] from out of [G1537] Babylon now [G3568] quickly [G5030]. For [G3754] unjustly they [G1473] prophesy [G4395] to you [G1473].
17: Do not [G3361] hearken to them [G1473], but you serve [G1398] to the [G3588] king of the [G3588] Babylon! and [G2532] you should live [G2198]. Why [G2444] will it be to her [G1473], to the [G3588] city [G4172] for [G1519] desolation [G2050]?
18: If [G1487] they are prophets [G4396], and [G2532] if [G1487] is word [G3056] [of the] Boss '[G2962] in [G1722] them [G1473], let them meet me [G1473], that [G2443] they should not [G3361] carry in [G1533] the [G3588] vessels [G4632], the [G3588] [ones] being left behind [G2641] in [G1722] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] in [G1722] house [G3624] of the [G3588] king of Judah, and [G2532] in Jerusalem, into [G1519] Babylon.
19: For [G3754] thus [G3779] said [G2036] Boss '[G2962] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] pillars , and [G2532] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] sea [G2281], and [G2532] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] bases , and [G2532] for [G4314] the [G3588] remaining [G1954] items [G4632], the [G3588] [ones] being left behind [G2641] in [G1722] the [G3588] this city [G4172][G3778],
20: which [G3739] did not [G3756] take [G2983] king of Babylon] when [G3753] he resettled the [G3588] Jeconiah son [G5207] of Jehoiakim king of Judah from out of [G1537] Jerusalem to [G1519] Babylon, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] rulers of Judah and [G2532] Jerusalem.
21: For [G3754] thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962] of for the [G3588]ces [G1411], the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, concerning [G4012] the [G3588] vessels [G4632] the [G3588] being left behind [G2641] in [G1722] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] in [G1722] house [G3624] of king of Judah, and [G2532] Jerusalem.
22: into [G1519] Babylon They will enter [G1525], and [G2532] there [G1563] they will be until [G2193] the [G3588] day [G2250] of the [G3588]ir visitation [G1473], and [G2532] I will lead them [G1473] and [G2532] I will return them [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778].
