And [G2532] Boaz went up unto [G1909] the [G3588] gate [G4439], and [G2532] sat down [G2523] there [G1563]. And [G2532] look [G2400], the [G3588] relative came near [G3899] whom [G3739] Boaz spoke of [G2980]. And [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473] Boaz], In turning aside [G1578], sit down [G2523] here [G5602] in private ! And [G2532] he turned aside [G1578], and [G2532] sat down [G2523].

And [G2532] Boaz took [G2983] ten [G1176] men from the [G3588] elders [G4245] of the [G3588] city [G4172], and [G2532] said [G2036], Sit down [G2523] here [G5602]! And [G2532] they sat down [G2523].

And [G2532] Boaz said [G2036] to the [G3588] [one] acting as next of kin , [Concerning] the [G3588] portion [G3310] of the [G3588] field which [G3739] is of the [G3588] our brother [G1473] the [G3588] Elimelech, which [G3739] he gave to Naomi, the [G3588] [one] returning [G1994] from out of [G1537] country of Moab,

that I [G2504] said [to myself [G2036], I will uncover the [G3588] your ear [G3775][G1473], saying [G3004], You acquire it [G2932] before [G1726] the [G3588] [ones] sitting down [G2521], and [G2532] before [G1726] the [G3588] elders [G4245] of the [G3588] my people [G2992][G1473]! If [G1487] you are a acting as next of kin , [then] act as next of kin ! But if not [G1490] acting as next of kin , announce it to me [G1473]! and [G2532] I will know [G1097]. For [G3754] there is no one [G3756] besides you [G1473] the [G3588] to act as next of kin , and I [G2504] am after [G3326] you [G1473]. the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036], I [G1473] am . I will act as next of kin .

And [G2532] Boaz said [G2036], In [G1722] day [G2250] the [G3588] you acquire [G2932][G1473] the [G3588] field from [G1537] hand [G5495] of Naomi, also [G2532] of [G3844] Ruth the [G3588] Moabitess, wife [G1135] of the [G3588] [one] having died [G2348], even [G2532] she [G1473] acquire [G2932] you [G1473] must [G1163], so as [G5620] to raise up the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] [one] having died [G2348], for [G1909] the [G3588] his inheritance [G2817][G1473].

And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] relative , I will not [G3756] be able [G1410] to act as next of kin myself [G1683], lest at any time [G3379] I ruin [G1311] the [G3588] my right of inheritance [G2817][G1473]. act as next of kin yourself [G4572] You [G1473] for the [G3588] my inheritance [G1473]! for [G3754] I will not [G3756] be able [G1410] to act as next of kin .

And [G2532] this [G3778] [was] the [G3588] ordinance [G1345] in former [times [G1715] in [G1722] the [G3588] Israel for [G1909] the [G3588] right of inheritance , and [G2532] for [G1909] the [G3588] equivalent , the [G3588] to establish [G2476] every [G3956] word '[G3056]. untied A man the [G3588] his sandal [G5266][G1473], and [G2532] he gave [it [G1325] [to the [G3588] his neighbor [G4139][G1473], to the [G3588] [one] acting as next of kin for the [G3588] his right of inheritance [G1473]; and [G2532] this [G3778] was testimony [G3142] in [G1722] Israel.

And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] relative the [G3588] to Boaz, You acquire [G2932] to yourself [G4572] the [G3588] my right of inheritance [G1473]! And [G2532] he untied the [G3588] his sandal [G5266][G1473] and [G2532] gave [it [G1325] to him [G1473].

And [G2532] Boaz said [G2036] to the [G3588] elders [G4245], and [G2532] to all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992], You [are] witnesses [G3144][G1473] today [G4594] that [G3754] I have acquired [G2932] all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] of the [G3588] Elimelech, and [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] exists to [G5224] the [G3588] Chilion and [G2532] the [G3588] Mahlon, from [G1537] hand [G5495] of Naomi.

And [G2532] indeed [G1065], Ruth the [G3588] Moabitess, the [G3588] wife [G1135] of Mahlon I have acquired [G2932] for myself [G1683] for [G1519] wife [G1135], the [G3588] to raise up the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] [one] having died [G2348], for [G1909] the [G3588] his inheritance [G2817][G1473], and [G2532] will not [G3756] be utterly destroyed [G1842] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] [one] having died [G2348] from among [G1537] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473], and [G2532] from [G1537] the [G3588] gate [G4439] of the [G3588] his place [G5117][G1473] -- you [are] witnesses [G3144][G1473] today [G4594].

And [G2532] said [G2036] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588] at [G1722] the [G3588] gate [G4439], [We are] witnesses [G3144]. And [G2532] the [G3588] elders [G4245] said [G2036], May BOSS give [G1325][G2962] the [G3588] woman [G1135] of you [G1473], the [G3588] [one] entering [G1531] into [G1519] the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473], [to be] as [G5613] Rachel and [G2532] as [G5613] Leah, the ones who [G3739] built [G3618] both the [G3588] house [G3624] of Israel, and [G2532] did [G4160] powerfully [G1411] in [G1722] Ephratah, and [G2532] it will be a name [G3686] in [G1722] Beth-lehem.

And [G2532] may become [G1096] the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473] as [G5613] house [G3624] of Pharez, whom [G3739] Tamar bore [G5088] the [G3588] to Judah. Of [G1537] the [G3588] your seed [G4690][G1473] may give [G1325] to you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] of [G1537] the [G3588] this maidservant [G3814][G3778] children [G5043].

And [G2532] Boaz took [G2983] the [G3588] Ruth, and [G2532] she became [G1096] to him [G1473] for [G1519] wife [G1135]. And [G2532] he entered [G1525] to [G4314] her [G1473]. And [G2532] gave [G1325] to her [G1473] Boss '[G2962] conception , and [G2532] she bore [G5088] a son [G5207].

And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] women [G1135] to [G4314] Naomi, Blessed [be [G2128] Boss '[G2962] who [G3739] rested not [to provide [G3756][G2647] to you [G1473] today [G4594] the [G3588] a relative ; and [G2532] may he call out [G2564] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473] in [G1722] Israel.

And [G2532] he will be to you [G1473] for [G1519] restoring [G1994] life [G5590], and [G2532] the [G3588] to nourish the [G3588] your gray hair ; for [G3754] the [G3588] your daughter-in-law [G3565][G1473], the [G3588] [one] loving you [G1473], bore [G5088] him [G1473], which [G3739] is good to you [G1473] above [G5228] seven [G2033] sons [G5207].

And [G2532] Naomi took [G2983] the [G3588] boy [G3808], and [G2532] put [G5087] him [G1473] to [G1519] the [G3588] her bosom [G2859][G1473], and [G2532] became [G1096] to him [G1473] for [G1519] a wet-nurse .

And [G2532] called [G2564] to him [G1473] the [G3588] neighbor women [G1069] the [G3588] name [G3686], saying [G3004], was birthed [G5088] A son [G5207] [to the [G3588] Naomi. And [G2532] they called [G2564] the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473] Obed. This one [is [G3778] father [G3962] of Jesse, father [G3962] of David.

And [G2532] these are [G3778] the [G3588] generations [G1078] of Pharez. Pharez engendered [G1080] the [G3588] Hezron,

and [G2532] Hezron engendered [G1080] the [G3588] Ram, and [G2532] Ram engendered [G1080] the [G3588] Amminadab,
20
and [G2532] Aminadab engendered [G1080] the [G3588] Nahshon, and [G2532] Nahshon engendered [G1080] the [G3588] Salmon,
21
and [G2532] Salmon engendered [G1080] the [G3588] Boaz, and [G2532] Boaz engendered [G1080] the [G3588] Obed,
22
and [G2532] Obed engendered [G1080] the [G3588] Jesse, and [G2532] Jesse engendered [G1080] the [G3588] David.
