1: the [G3588] Wisdom [G4678] built [G3618] to herself [G1438] a house [G3624], and [G2532] she propped up columns [G4769] seven [G2033].
2: She slew [G4969] the [things] [G3588] for herself [G1438] which are offered in sacrifices ; she mixed [G2767] into [G1519] a basin the [G3588] wine for herself [G1438][G3631], and [G2532] she prepared [G2090] the [G3588] a table for herself [G1438][G5132].
3: She sent the [G3588] her own [G1438] servants [G1401], calling together [G4779] with [G3326] high [G5308] proclamation [G2782], upon [G1909] a basin , saying [G3004],
4: Whosoever [G3739] is a fool , turn aside [G1578] to [G4314] me [G1473]! And [G2532] to the [G3588] [ones] lacking [G1729] of sense [G5424], she said [G2036],
5: Come [G2064] eat [G2068] of the [G3588] my [G1699] bread loaves , and [G2532] drink [G4095] wine [G3631] which [G3739] I mixed [G2767] for you [G1473]!
6: Cease folly ! and [G2532] you will live [G2198]. And [G2532] seek [G2212] intelligence [G5428]! that [G2443] you should spend life . And [G2532] keep straight by [G1722] knowledge [G1108] understanding [G4907]!
7: the [one] [G3588] correcting [G3811] evil [men [G2556] will take [G2983] on himself [G1438] dishonor ; and in reproving [G1651][G1161], the [G3588] impious scoffs at [G3469] himself [G1438].
8: Do not [G3361] reprove [G1651] evil [men [G2556]! so that [G2443] they should not [G3361] detest [G3404] you [G1473]. Reprove [G1651] a wise [man [G4680]! and [G2532] he will love you [G1473].
9: Give [G1325] to a wise [man [G4680] opportunity ! and [G2532] he will be wiser [G4680]; make [things] known [G1107] to a just [man [G1342]! and [G2532] he will proceed [G4369] the [G3588] to receive [more [G1209].
10: beginning of wisdom [G4678] [is] fear [G5401] of Boss '[G2962]; and [G2532] counsel [G1012] of holy ones [is] understanding [G4907]. for the [G3588] [G1063] to know [G1097] law [G3551] consideration [G1271] is of good .
11: For in this [G3778][G1063] the [G3588] manner [G5158] a long [G4183] you will live [G2198] time [G5550], and [G2532] will be added [G4369] to you [G1473] years [G2094] of life [G2222].
12: O son [G5207], if [G1437] wise [G4680] you be [G1096], to yourself [G4572] wise [G4680] you will be ; and if [G1437][G1161] evil [G2556] you should turn out to be , alone [G3441] then you will draw evils [G2556].
13: woman [G1135] A foolish and [G2532] bold 10> lacking [G1729] 11> of a morsel becomes [G1096] who [G3739] does not [G3756] have knowledge of [G1987] shame .
14: She sits [G2523] at [G1909] doors [G2374] of the [G3588] her own [G1438] house [G3624] upon [G1909] a chair , visibly in [G1722] squares [G4113],
15: calling [G4341] the [G3588] [ones] passing by [G3935] way [G3598], and [G2532] the ones going straight [G2720] on [G1722] the [G3588]ir ways, [saying [G3598][G1473],
16: Whoever [G3739] is most foolish of you [G1473], turn aside [G1578] to [G4314] me [G1473]! And [G2532] to the [G3588] [ones] lacking [G1729] intelligence [G5428] I rouse , saying [G3004],
17: Bread loaves of secrets with pleasure [G2234] you touch , and [G2532] water [G5204] of fraud [G2829] sweet you drink [G4095]!
18: But he the [G3588][G1161] does not [G3756] know [G1492] that [G3754] land-born men by [G3844] her [G1473] [are] destroyed , and [G2532] upon [G1909] perch of Hades he meets [G4876].
