Numbers Chapter 8 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Moses, saying [G3004],
2: Speak [G2980] the [G3588] to Aaron! And [G2532] you will say [G2046] to [G4314] him [G1473], Whenever [G3752] you should place [G2007] the [G3588] lamps [G3088] by [G1537] rank [G3313], in [G2596] front [G4383] of the [G3588] lamp-stand [G3087] will give light [G5461] the [G3588] seven [G2033] lamps [G3088].
3: And [G2532] did [G4160] so [G3779] Aaron]; in [G2596] front [G4383] of the [G3588] lamp-stand [G3087] he lit up the [G3588] its lamps [G3088][G1473] as [G2505] BOSS gave orders [G4929][G2962] the [G3588] to Moses.
4: And [G2532] this is [G3778] the [G3588] apparatus of the [G3588] lamp-stand [G3087]; [is] solid [G4731] gold [G5552], the [G3588] its stem [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] its lilies [G2918][G1473] [are] solid [G4731] entirely [G3650], according to [G2596] for the [G3588]m [G1491] which [G3739] BOSS showed [G1166][G2962] the [G3588] Moses -- thus [G3779] he made [G4160] the [G3588] lamp-stand [G3087].
5: And [G2532] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Moses, saying [G3004],
6: Take [G2983] the [G3588] Levites from [G1537] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, and [G2532] you will purify them [G1473].
7: And [G2532] thus [G3779] you will do [G4160] to them [G1473] for the [G3588]ir purification [G1473] -- you will sprinkle about them [G1473] water [G5204] of purification , and [G2532] will come [G1904] a razor upon [G1909] whole [G3956] of the [G3588]ir body [G4983][G1473]. And [G2532] you will wash [G4150] the [G3588]ir garments [G2440][G1473], and [G2532] they will be clean [G2513].
8: And [G2532] they will take [G2983] calf [G3448] one [G1520] from [G1537] oxen [G1016], and [G2532] of this [G3778] a sacrifice [offering [G2378] of fine flour [G4585] being prepared in [G1722] olive oil [G1637]. And [G2532] a calf [G3448] of a year [old from [G1537] oxen [G1016] you will take [G2983] for [G4012] a sin [offering .
9: And [G2532] you will lead forward [G4317] the [G3588] Levites before [G1725] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142]. And [G2532] you will bring together [G4863] all [G3956] congregation [G4864] of sons [G5207] of Israel.
10: And [G2532] you will lead forward [G4317] the [G3588] Levites before [G1725] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] will place [G2007] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel the [G3588]ir hands [G5495][G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] Levites.
11: And [G2532] Aaron will separate the [G3588] Levites [for] a gift before [G1725] Boss '[G2962] from [G3844] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel. And [G2532] they will be so as [G5620] to work [G2038] the [G3588] works [G2041] of Boss '[G2962].
12: And the [G3588][G1161] Levites will place [G2007] the [G3588] hands [G5495] upon [G1909] the [G3588] heads [G2776] of the [G3588] calves [G3448]. And [G2532] you will offer [G4160] the [G3588] [one] [G1520] for [G4012] a sin [offering , and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] [G1520] for [G1519] a whole burnt-offering [G3646] [to the] Boss '[G2962] to atone for [G4012] them [G1473].
13: And [G2532] you will stand [G2476] the [G3588] Levites before [G1725] Aaron, and [G2532] before [G1725] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473]; and [G2532] you will give them back [G1473] [as] a gift [to the] Boss '[G2962].
14: And [G2532] you will draw apart [G1291] the [G3588] Levites from [G1537] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, and [G2532] they will be mine [G1473].
15: And [G2532] after [G3326] these [things] [G3778] will enter [G1525] the [G3588] Levites] to work [G2038] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142]. And [G2532] you will cleanse [G2511] them [G1473], and [G2532] render them [G1473] before [G1725] Boss '[G2962].
16: For [G3754] [as] a gift these are being given back [G3778] to me [G1473]; they are from out of [G1537] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, in place of the [G3588] [ones] opening wide [G1272] every [G3956] womb [G3388] of all first-born [G4416][G3956] of [G1537] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel; I have taken [G2983] them [G1473] to myself [G1473].
17: For [G3754] [is] mine [G1473] every [G3956] first-born [G4416] among [G1722] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel], from man unto [G2193] beast [G2934]; in which [G3739] day [G2250] I struck [G3960] every [G3956] first-born [G4416] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Egypt, I sanctified them [G1473] to myself [G1473].
18: And [G2532] I took [G2983] the [G3588] Levites instead of every [G3956] first-born [G4416] among [G1722] sons [G5207] of Israel.
19: And [G2532] I gave back the [G3588] Levites [as] a gift , recompensing Aaron and [G2532] to the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473] from out of [G1537] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, to work [G2038] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel in [G1722] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142], and [G2532] to atone for [G4012] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel; and [that [G2532] will not be [G3756] among [G1722] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel a calamity [G4127] whenever [G3752] drawing near [G4331] to [G4314] the [G3588] holy [things] .
20: And [G2532] did [G4160] [so] Moses and [G2532] Aaron], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] congregation [G4864] of sons [G5207] of Israel, to the [G3588] Levites as [G2505] BOSS gave charge [G1781][G2962] the [G3588] to Moses concerning [G4012] the [G3588] Levites -- thus [G3779] did [G4160] to them [G1473] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel].
21: And [G2532] purified themselves the [G3588] Levites], and [G2532] washed [G4150] the [G3588]ir garments [G2440][G1473]. And [G2532] gave them [G1473] Aaron] [as] a gift before [G1725] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] made atonement for [G4012] them [G1473] Aaron] to purify them [G1473].
22: And [G2532] after [G3326] this [G3778] entered [G1525] the [G3588] Levites] to officiate [G3008] the [G3588]ir ministration [G3009][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142] before [G1725] Aaron, and [G2532] before [G1725] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473]. As [G2505] BOSS gave orders [G4929][G2962] [to the [G3588] Moses for [G4012] the [G3588] Levite, so [G3779] they did [G4160] to them [G1473].
23: And [G2532] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Moses, saying [G3004],
24: This [G3778] is the [thing] for the [G3588] [G4012] the [G3588] Levites from five [G4002] and [G2532] twenty years and [G2532] up [G1883]. They will enter [G1525] to minister [G3008] a ministration [G3009] in [G1722] works [G2041] in [G1722] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142].
25: And [G2532] from fifty years [old he will leave from the [G3588] ministration [G3009], and [G2532] will not [G3756] work [G2038] any longer [G2089].
26: And [G2532] he will officiate [G3008] with [G3326] brothers of him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142], to guard [G5442] watches [G5438]; works [G2041] but [G1161] he will not [G3756] work [G2038] -- so [G3779] will you do [G4160] to the [G3588] Levites in [G1722] the [G3588]ir watches [G5438][G1473].
