Numbers Chapter 17 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Moses, saying [G3004],
2: Speak [G2980] to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel! And [G2532] take [G2983] from [G3844] them [G1473] a rod [G4464]! a rod [G4464] according to [G2596] houses [G3624] of patrimony [G3965], from [G3844] all [G3956] the [G3588]ir rulers [G1473], according to [G2596] houses [G3624] of their patrimony [G3965][G1473] -- twelve [G1427] rods [G4464]. And [G2532] for each [G1538] the [G3588] name [G3686] inscribe [G1924] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his rod [G4464][G1473]!
3: And [G2532] the [G3588] name [G3686] of Aaron you will inscribe [G1924] upon [G1909] the [G3588] rod [G4464] of Levi. For it is [G1063] rod [G4464] one [G1520] according to [G2596] tribe [G5443] of house [G3624] of their patrimony [G3965][G1473].
4: And [G2532] you will put [G5087] them [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142], over against [G2713] the [G3588] testimony [G3142], in [G1722] which [G3739] I will be made known [G1097] to you [G1473] there [G1563].
5: And [G2532] it will be the [G3588] man who [G3739] ever I should choose [G1586] him [G1473], the [G3588] his rod [G4464][G1473] will sprout forth . And [G2532] I will remove [G4014] from you [G1473] the [G3588] grumbling [G1112] of sons [G5207] of Israel, as much as [G3745] they [G1473] grumble [G1111] against [G1909] you [G1473].
6: And [G2532] Moses spoke [G2980] to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel; and [G2532] gave [G1325] to him [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] rulers their [G1473] rod [G4464] -- to the [G3588] ruler the [G3588] [one] [G1520] rod [G4464] one [G1520], according to [G2596] ruler , according to [G2596] houses [G3624] of their patrimony [G3965][G1473] -- twelve [G1427] rods [G4464]. And [G2532] the [G3588] rod [G4464] of Aaron [was] in the midst of the [G3588]ir rods [G4464][G1473].
7: And [G2532] Moses put aside the [G3588] rods [G4464] before [G1725] Boss '[G2962] in [G1722] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142].
8: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in the [G3588] next day [G1887], that [G2532] Moses entered [G1525] into [G1722] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142]; and [G2532] look [G2400], sprouted the [G3588] rod [G4464] of Aaron] for [G1519] house [G3624] of Levi; and [G2532] it brought forth [G1627] a bud , and [G2532] it blossomed a flower , and [G2532] sprouted walnuts .
9: And [G2532] Moses brought forth [G1627] all [G3956] the [G3588] rods [G4464] from in front [G4383] of Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] all [G3956] sons [G5207] of Israel. And [G2532] they saw [G1492], and [G2532] took [G2983] each [G1538] the [G3588] his rod [G4464][G1473].
10: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] Moses, Put aside the [G3588] rod [G4464] of Aaron before [G1799] the [G3588] testimony [G3142]! for [G1519] preservation for [G1519] a sign [G4592] to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] unhearing . And [G2532] let cease [G3973] the [G3588]ir grumbling [G1112][G1473] off me [G1473]! so [G2532] in no way they will die .
11: And [G2532] did [G4160] Moses and [G2532] Aaron] as [G2505] BOSS gave orders [G4929][G2962] [to the [G3588] Moses -- so [G3779] they did [G4160].
12: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel] to [G4314] Moses, saying [G3004], look [G2400], we have been completely consumed , we have been destroyed , we all [G3956][G1473] have been uselessly consumed ,
13: every [G3956] the [G3588] [one] touching the [G3588] tent [G4633] of Boss '[G2962] dies . Until [G2193] completion [G1519][G5056] should we die ?
