1: In [G1722] that [G1565] the [G3588] time [G2540] heard Herod the [G3588] tetrarch [G5076] the [G3588] report of Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]).
2: And [G2532] he said [G2036] [to the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473], This [G3778] is John the [G3588] Baptist ; he [G1473] is risen [G1453] from the [G3588] dead [G3498]; and [G2532] because of [G1223] this [G3778] the [G3588] [works of] power [G1411] are exerted [G1754] in [G1722] him [G1473].
3: for the [G3588] [G1063] Herod having held [G2902] the [G3588] John, bound [G1210] him [G1473] and [G2532] put [him [G5087] in [G1722] prison [G5438], on account of [G1223] Herodias the [G3588] wife [G1135] of Philip the [G3588] brother of him [G1473].
4: said [G3004] For [G1063] to him [G1473] the [G3588] John], It is not allowed [G3756][G1832] to you [G1473] to have [G2192] her [G1473].
5: And [G2532] wanting [G2309] to kill him [G1473], he feared [G5399] the [G3588] crowd [G3793], for [G3754] as [G5613] a prophet [G4396] him [G1473] they held [G2192].
6: And a birthday [G1077][G1161] being celebrated of the [G3588] Herod, danced [G3738] the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of the [G3588] Herodias] in [G1722] the [G3588] midst [G3319], and [G2532] she pleased the [G3588] Herod.
7: Whereupon [G3606] with [G3326] an oath [G3727] he acknowledged [G3670] to give to her [G1473][G1325] what [G3739] ever [G1437] she asked .
8: And she the [G3588][G1161], being forced [G4264] by [G5259] the [G3588] her mother [G3384][G1473] -- Give [G1325] to me [G1473], she says [G5346], here [G5602] upon [G1909] a platter [G4094] the [G3588] head [G2776] of John the [G3588] Baptist !
9: And [G2532] fretted [G3076] the [G3588] king , but on account of [G1223][G1161] the [G3588] oaths [G3727], and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] reclining together with [him [G4873], he bid [G2753] [it] to be given [G1325].
10: And [G2532] having sent forth [G3992], he beheaded the [G3588] John in [G1722] the [G3588] prison [G5438].
11: And [G2532] the [G3588] his head [G2776] was brought [G5342] upon [G1909] a platter [G4094], and [G2532] was given [G1325] to the [G3588] young woman [G2877]. And [G2532] she brought [it [G5342] [to the [G3588] her mother [G3384][G1473].
12: And [G2532] having come [G4334] the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473] carried the [G3588] body [G4983], and [G2532] buried [G2290] it [G1473]. And [G2532] having come [G2064], they reported [to the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]).
13: And [G2532] having heard the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) withdrew from there [G1564] in [G1722] a boat [G4143] unto [G1519] a desolate [G2048] place [G5117] in private [G2596][G2398]. And [G2532] having heard , the [G3588] crowds [G3793] followed him [G1473] on foot [G3979] from the [G3588] cities [G4172].
14: And [G2532] having come forth [G1831], the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) looked [at] [G1492] a great [G4183] crowd [G3793], and [G2532] he was moved with compassion [G4697] over [G1909] them [G1473], and [G2532] he cured [G2323] the [G3588]ir ill ones [G1473].
15: And evening [G3798][G1161] having become [G1096], there came forward [G4334] to him [G1473] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] of him [G1473], saying [G3004], is desolate [G2048] the [G3588] place [G5117], and [G2532] the [G3588] hour [G5610] already [G2235] went by [G3928]; dismiss the [G3588] crowds [G3793], that [G2443] having gone forth into [G1519] the [G3588] towns [G2968] they should buy foods for themselves [G1438][G1033]!
16: the [G3588] But [G1161] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036] to them [G1473], No [G3756] need [G5532] do they have [G2192] to go forth , you give [G1325] to them [G1473] yourselves [G1473] [something] to eat [G2068]!
17: And they the [G3588][G1161] say [G3004] to him [G1473], We do not [G3756] have [anything [G2192] here [G5602] except for [G1508] five [G4002] bread loaves and [G2532] two [G1417] fishes [G2486].
18: And he the [G3588][G1161] said [G2036], Bring [G5342] them to me [G1473][G1473] here [G5602]!
19: And [G2532] having bid [G2753] the [G3588] crowds [G3793] to lie down upon [G1909] the [G3588] grass [G5528], and [G2532] having taken [G2983] the [G3588] five [G4002] bread loaves , and [G2532] the [G3588] two [G1417] fishes [G2486], having looked up into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], he blessed [G2127]. And [G2532] having broken [G2806], he gave [G1325] to the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] the [G3588] bread loaves , and the [G3588][G1161] trainees '[G3101] to the [G3588] crowds [G3793].
20: And [G2532] all ate [G2068][G3956] and [G2532] were filled [G5526]. And [G2532] they lifted the [G3588] abounding [G4052] the [G3588] pieces [G2801] -- twelve [G1427] hampers [G2894] full [G4134].
21: And the [G3588] [ones] [G1161] having eaten [G2068] were men about [G5616] five thousand [G4000], apart from [G5565] women [G1135] and [G2532] children [G3813].
22: And [G2532] immediately [G2112] compelled the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473] to step [G1684] into [G1519] the [G3588] boat [G4143], and [G2532] to lead before [G4254] him [G1473] unto [G1519] the [G3588] other side [G4008], until [G2193] of which [G3739] he should dismiss the [G3588] crowds [G3793].
23: And [G2532] having dismissed the [G3588] crowds [G3793], he went up into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] in [G2596] private [G2398] to pray [G4336]. And evening [G3798][G1161] being come [G1096], alone [G3441] he was there [G1563].
24: And the [G3588][G1161] boat [G4143] already [G2235] in midst [G3319] of the [G3588] sea [G2281] was , being tormented by [G5259] the [G3588] waves [G2949]; was for [G1063] adverse [G1727] the [G3588] wind .
25: And fourth [G5067][G1161] watch [G5438] of the [G3588] night [G3571] went forth to [G4314] them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) walking [G4043] upon [G1909] the [G3588] sea [G2281].
26: And [G2532] seeing [G1492] him [G1473] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] upon [G1909] the [G3588] sea [G2281] walking [G4043] were disturbed [G5015], saying [G3004] that [G3754], It is a phantom [G5326]! And [G2532] from the [G3588] fear [G5401] they cried out [G2896].
27: And immediately [G2112][G1161] spoke [G2980] to them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), saying [G3004], Courage [G2293]! I [G1473] am [he , do not [G3361] be fearful [G5399]!
28: And responding [G1161] to him [G1473], the [G3588] Peter said [G2036], O Boss '[G2962], if [G1487] you are [he [G1473], bid [G2753] me [G1473] to [G4314] come to you [G1473][G2064] upon [G1909] the [G3588] waters [G5204]!
29: And he the [G3588][G1161] said [G2036], Come [G2064]! And [G2532] descending [G2597] from the [G3588] boat [G4143] the [G3588] Peter] walked [G4043] upon [G1909] the [G3588] waters [G5204] to go [G2064] to [G4314] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]).
30: But seeing [G1161] the [G3588] wind strong [G2478], he feared [G5399]. And [G2532] beginning to sink [G2670], he cried out [G2896], saying [G3004], O Boss '[G2962], save [G4982] me [G1473]!
31: And immediately [G2112][G1161] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) having stretched out [G1614] the [G3588] hand [G5495] took hold of [G1949] him [G1473], and [G2532] says [G3004] to him [G1473], O one of little belief [G3640], for [G1519] why [G5100] did you hesitate [G1365]?
32: And [G2532] of their stepping [G1684][G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] boat [G4143], abated [G2869] the [G3588] wind .
33: And the [G3588] [ones] [G1161] in [G1722] the [G3588] boat [G4143] having come [G2064] did obeisance to [G4352] him [G1473], saying [G3004], Truly of God '[G2316] son [G5207] you are .
34: And [G2532] having passed through [G1276], they came [G2064] unto [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Gennesaret.
35: And [G2532] having recognized [G1921] him [G1473], the [G3588] men of the [G3588] that place [G5117][G1565] sent into [G1519] all [G3650] the [G3588] round about [place] [G4066] that [G1565], and [G2532] they brought [G4374] to him [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] illnesses [G2560] having [G2192].
36: And [G2532] they enjoined [G3870] him [G1473] that [G2443] only [G3440] they might touch the [G3588] decorative hem [G2899] of the [G3588] his cloak [G2440][G1473]. And [G2532] as many as [G3745] touched were delivered [G1295].
