1: And [G2532] went up a word-conveyer (messenger) ' of Boss '[G2962] from Gilgal, unto [G1909] the [G3588] Place of Weeping . And [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473], Boss '[G2962] transported you [G1473] from [G1537] Egypt, and [G2532] brought [G1521] you [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] he swore by an oath [G3660] [to the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473] the [G3588] to give [G1325] to you [G1473]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], I will not [G3756] efface the [G3588] my covenant [G1242][G1473] with [G3326] you [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `.
2: And [G2532] you [G1473] will not [G3756] ordain [G1303] a covenant [G1242] with the [G3588] [ones] lying in wait in [G1519] the [G3588] this land '[G1093][G3778], nor [G3761] [to the [G3588]ir gods '[G2316][G1473] in any way will you do obeisance [G4352]; but the [G3588]ir carved [idols [G1473] break [G4937], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir altars [G2379][G1473] raze [G2679]! And [G2532] you hearkened not to [G3756][G1522] the [G3588] my voice [G5456][G1473], nor [G3777] these [things] [G3778] did you do [G4160].
3: And I [G2504] said [G2036], In no way will I remove [G1808] them [G1473] from [G1537] face [G4383] of you [G1473]; and [G2532] they will be to you [G1473] for [G1519] conflict [G4928], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir gods '[G2316][G1473] will be to you [G1473] as an [G1519] obstacle [G4625].
4: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] spoke [G2980] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ' [of the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] words [G3056] these [G3778] to [G4314] all [G3956] sons [G5207] of Israel, that [G2532] lifted up [G1869] the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588]ir voices [G5456][G1473], and [G2532] wept [G2799].
5: Therefore [G1223][G3778] he called [G2564] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] that place [G5117][G1565], Weeping . And [G2532] they sacrificed [G2380] there [G1563] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].
6: And [G2532] Joshua sent out [G1821] the [G3588] people [G2992], and [G2532] departed the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel each [G1538] to [G1519] the [G3588] his place [G5117][G1473], and [G2532] to [G1519] the [G3588] his inheritance [G2817][G1473], to inherit the [G3588] land '[G1093].
7: And [G2532] served [G1398] the [G3588] people [G2992] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] of Joshua, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] elders [G4245], as many as [G3745] prolonged their days with [G3326] Joshua, as many as [G3745] knew [G1097] every [G3956] the [G3588] work [G2041] [of the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] great [G3173] which [G3739] he did [G4160] the [G3588] to Israel.
8: And [G2532] came to an end [G5053] the [G3588] Joshua son [G5207] of Nun], a servant [G1401] of Boss '[G2962], a son [G5207] of a hundred [G1540] ten [G1176] years [G2094].
9: And [G2532] they entombed [G2290] him [G1473] in [G1722] border [G3725] of the [G3588] his inheritance [G2817][G1473] in [G1722] Timnath-heres, in [G1722] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Ephraim, from north [G1005] of the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Gaash.
10: And [G2532] indeed [G1065] all [G3956] the [G3588] that generation [G1074][G1565] was added [G4369] to [G4314] the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473]. And [G2532] rose up generation [G1074] another [G2087] after [G3326] them [G1473] which [G3739] did not [G3756] know [G1097] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] indeed [G1065] the [G3588] work [G2041] which [G3739] he did [G4160] the [G3588] to Israel.
11: And [G2532] acted [G4160] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel the [G3588] wickedly [G4190] before [G1726] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] they served [G3000] to the [G3588] Baalim.
12: And [G2532] they abandoned [G1459] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], the [G3588] [one] leading [G1806] them [G1473] out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, and [G2532] they went [G4198] after [G3694] gods '[G2316] other [G2087] off the [G3588] gods '[G2316] of the [G3588] peoples [G2992] the [G3588] surrounding them [G1473]; and [G2532] they did obeisance to [G4352] them [G1473], and [G2532] provoked to anger [G3949] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].
13: And [G2532] they abandoned [G1459] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] served [G3000] [to the [G3588] Baal and [G2532] to the [G3588] Ashtoreths.
14: And [G2532] was provoked to anger [G3710] in rage [G2372] Boss '[G2962] with [G1722] the [G3588] Israel, and [G2532] he delivered [G3860] them [G1473] into [G1722] hand [G5495] of ones despoiling , and [G2532] they carried away captive them [G1473]. And [G2532] he gave them [G1473] into [G1722] hand [G5495] of the [G3588]ir enemies [G2190][G1473] round about [G2943], and [G2532] they were not able [G3756][G1410] to oppose against [G2596] face [G4383] of the [G3588]ir enemies [G2190][G1473].
15: In [G1722] all [G3956] wherever [G3739] they went [G4198], even [G2532] hand [G5495] of Boss '[G2962] was against [G1722] them [G1473] for [G1519] bad [G2556], as [G2531] BOSS said [G2980][G2962], and [G2532] as [G2531] BOSS swore [G3660][G2962] to them [G1473]; and [G2532] he squeezed them [G1473] exceedingly [G4970].
16: And [G2532] BOSS raised up [G1453][G2962] judges [G2923], and [G2532] delivered [G4982] them [G1473] Boss '[G2962] from [G1537] hand [G5495] of the [G3588] [ones] despoiling them [G1473]. And [G2532] the [G3588]ir judges [G2923][G1473] they obeyed not [G3756][G5219],
17: for [G3754] they fornicated [G1608] after [G3694] gods '[G2316] other [G2087], and [G2532] did obeisance to [G4352] them [G1473], and [G2532] provoked to anger [G3949] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] they turned aside [G1578] quickly [G5036] from [G1537] the [G3588] way [G3598] of which [G3739] went [G4198] the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], the [G3588] listening to [G1522] the [G3588] commandments [G1785] of Boss '[G2962]; they did not do [G3756][G4160] so [G3779].
18: And [G2532] when [G3753] BOSS raised up [G1453][G2962] to them [G1473] judges [G2923], then [G2532] BOSS [was [G2962] with [G3326] the [G3588] judge [G2923], and [G2532] he delivered [G4982] them [G1473] from [G1537] hand [G5495] of their enemies [G2190][G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] judge [G2923]. For [G3754] was moved to comfort [G3870] Boss '[G2962] because off the [G3588]ir moaning [G4726][G1473] from in front [G4383] of the [G3588] [ones] assaulting them [G1473] and [G2532] afflicting [G2559] them [G1473].
19: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] died the [G3588] judge [G2923], that [G2532] they turned back , and [G2532] again [G3825] corrupted [themselves [G1311] above [G5228] the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], to go [G4198] after [G3694] gods '[G2316] other [G2087], and [G2532] to serve [G3000] them [G1473], and [G2532] to do obeisance to [G4352] them [G1473]. They did not [G3756] disown the [G3588]ir practices [G1473], and [G2532] off the [G3588] way [G3598] their [G1473] the [G3588] recalcitrant [G4642].
20: And [G2532] was provoked to anger [G3710] in rage [G2372] Boss '[G2962] with [G1722] the [G3588] Israel. And [G2532] he said [G2036], Because of as much as [G3745] abandoned [G1459] the [G3588] this tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484][G3778] the [G3588] my covenant [G1242][G1473] which [G3739] I gave charge [G1781] [to the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] hearkened not to [G3756][G1522] the [G3588] my voice [G5456][G1473],
21: then [G2532] I [G1473] will not [G3756] proceed [G4369] the [G3588] to remove [G1808] a man before [G1537] their presence [G4383][G1473] from the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] whom [G3739] were left behind [G2641] [by] Joshua.
22: And [G2532] he allowed the [G3588] to test [G3985] by [G1722] him [G1473] the [G3588] Israel], if [G1487] they guard [G5442][G1473] the [G3588] way [G3598] of Boss '[G2962], to go [G4198] by [G1722] it [G1473] in which [G3739] manner [G5158] guarded [G5442] the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], or [G2228] not [G3756].
23: And [G2532] BOSS left [G2962] the [G3588]se tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484][G3778] so as to the [G3588] not [G3361] remove [G1808] them [G1473] the [G3588] quickly [G5034]; and [G2532] he did not [G3756] deliver [G3860] them [G1473] into [G1722] hand [G5495] of Joshua.
