Joshua Chapter 23 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] after [G3326] days [G2250] many [G4183], after [G3326] the [G3588] rested [G2664] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] Israel from all [G3956] the [G3588]ir enemies [G2190][G1473] round about [G2943], and [G2532] Joshua [was] older [G4245] being advanced [G4260] the [G3588] in days [G2250],
2: that [G2532] Joshua called together [G4779] all [G3956] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, and [G2532] the [G3588]ir council of elders [G1087][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir rulers [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir magistrates [G1348][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir scholars (scribes) '[G1122] (soferim [H5613])[G1473], and [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473], I [G1473] grow old [G1095] and [G2532] advanced [G4260] the [G3588] in days [G2250].
3: And you [G1473][G1161] have seen [G3708] all things as much as [G3745] did [G4160] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] to all [G3956] the [G3588]se tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484][G3778] from in front [G4383] of you [G1473]; for [G3754] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473], he [G1473] [is] the [G3588] [one] waging war for you [G1473].
4: look [at] [G1492] whatsoever [G3746] I said [G2036], I cast [G1977] to you [G1473] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], the [G3588] [ones] being left [G2641] to you [G1473]. These [G3778] [land]s will be] for [G1722] the [G3588] lots [G2819] to [G1519] the [G3588] your tribes [G5443][G1473]. from the [G3588] Jordan All [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] I utterly destroyed [G1842], and [G2532] from the [G3588] sea [G2281] the [G3588] great [G3173] you will define the bounds [G3724] by [G1909] descent [G1424] of sun [G2246].
5: And Boss '[G2962][G1161] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], he [G3778] will utterly destroy [G1842] them [G1473] from in front [G4383] of you [G1473], and [G2532] he will utterly destroy [G1842] them [G1473] from face [G4383] of you [G1473]; and [G2532] you will inherit the [G3588]ir land '[G1093][G1473], as [G2505] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] to you [G1473].
6: Grow strong [G2729] then [G3767] exceedingly [G4970]! to guard [G5442] and [G2532] to do [G4160] all things the [G3588] being written [G1125] in [G1722] the [G3588] scroll of the [G3588] law [G3551] of Moses, that [G2443] you should not [G3361] turn aside [G1578] from him [G1473] to [G1519] right [G1188] or [G2228] to [G1519] left [G2176];
7: that you [G3704] should not [G3361] enter [G1525] unto [G1519] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] the [G3588] being left [G2641] these [G3778] with [G3326] you [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] names [G3686] of the [G3588]ir gods '[G2316][G1473] you will not [G3756] name [G3687] among [G1722] you [G1473], and [G2532] you will not swear by an oath [G3756][G3660] nor serve [G3000], nor will you do obeisance to [G4352] them [G1473].
8: But [to the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] you will cleave [G4347], just as [G2509] you did [G4160] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
9: And [G2532] will utterly destroy [G1842] them [G1473] Boss '[G2962] from face [G4383] of you [G1473] -- tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] great [G3173] and [G2532] strong [G2478]; and [G2532] to you [G1473] no one [G3762] withstood before [G2714] you [G1473] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
10: man One [G1520] of you [G1473] pursued [G1377] a thousand [G5507]. For [G3754] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473], he [G3778] wages war for you [G1473], just as [G2509] he spoke [G2036] to you [G1473].
11: But [G2532] guard [G5442] exceedingly [G4970] the [G3588] your lives [G5590][G1473]! the [G3588] to love Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473].
12: For if [G1437][G1063] you should turn away , and [G2532] should proceed [G4369] the [G3588] to leave behind [G5275] these tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484][G3778] with [G3326] you [G1473], and [G2532] connections by marriage you should make [G4160] with [G4314] them [G1473], and [G2532] mix together with them [G1473], and [G2532] they [G1473] with you [G1473].
13: [With] knowledge [G1108] know [G1097] that [G3754] in no way will proceed [G4369] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] the [G3588] to utterly destroy [G1842] the [G3588]se tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484][G3778] from face [G4383] of you [G1473]. And [G2532] they will be to you [G1473] for [G1519] snares [G3803], and [G2532] for [G1519] obstacles [G4625], and [G2532] for [G1519] nails [G2247] in [G1722] the [G3588] your heels [G4418][G1473], and [G2532] for [G1519] arrows [G1002] in [G1722] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473], until [G2193] whenever you should destroy [them from the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] this good [G3778] which [G3739] gave [G1325] to you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473].
14: But I [G1473][G1161] run today [G4594] the [G3588] way [G3598] as [G2505] also [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]. And [G2532] you will know [G1097] in [G1722] whole [G3650] the [G3588] heart [G2588] your [G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] whole [G3650] the [G3588] soul [G5590] your [G1473], that [G1360] failed not [G3756] word [G3056] one [G1520] from all [G3956] of the [G3588] words [G3056] the [G3588] good of which [G3739] spoke [G2036] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] concerning [G4314] you [G1473]; all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] being related to us [G1473] -- he did not dissent [G3756] from [G1537] them [G1473] word [G4487] one [G1520].
15: And [G2532] it will be in which [G3739] manner [G5158] come [G2240] unto [G1909] you [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] things [G4487] the [G3588] good [G2570], which [G3739] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] unto [G1909] you [G1473]; so [G3779] BOSS will bring [G1863][G2962] upon [G1909] you [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] things [G4487] the [G3588] bad [G4190], until [G2193] he should utterly destroy [G1842] you [G1473] from the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] this good [G3778], of which [G3739] gave [G1325] to you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473],
16: in [G1722] the [G3588] your violating [G3845][G1473] the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], which [G3739] he gave charge [G1781] to you [G1473], and [G2532] going [G4198] you will serve [G3000] gods '[G2316] other [G2087], and [G2532] will do obeisance [G4352] to them [G1473], and [G2532] will be provoked to anger [G3710] in rage [G2372] Boss '[G2962] with [G1722] you [G1473], and [G2532] you will perish the [G3588] quickly [G5034] from the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] good which [G3739] gave [G1325] to you [G1473] Boss '[G2962].
