Job Chapter 42 - | Early Church Bible

1: And undertaking [G5274][G1161], Job to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] says [G3004],
2: I know [G1492] that [G3754] in all [things] [G3956] you are able [G1410], is powerless and [G1161] to you [G1473] nothing [G3762].
3: For who [G5100][G1063] is the [G3588] [one] hiding [G2928] you [G1473] counsel [G1012], and sparing [G5339][G1161] words [G4487], and [G2532] you [G1473] imagines [G3633] to hide [G2928]? And who [G5100][G1161] announces to me [G1473] [things] which [G3739] I knew not [G3756][G1492], great [G3173] and [G2532] wonderful [G2298], [things] which [G3739] I had no knowledge [G3756][G1987]?
4: But hear [G1161] me [G1473], O Boss '[G2962]! for [G2443] I also [G2504] will speak [G2980]. And I will ask [G2065][G1161] you [G1473], and you [G1473][G1161] teach me [G1473][G1321]!
5: Hearing indeed [G3303] [in my] ear [G3775], I heard of you [G1473] for the [G3588]merly [G4387]; but now [G3568][G1161] the [G3588] my eye [G3788][G1473] sees [G3708] you [G1473].
6: Therefore [G1352] I treated as worthless myself [G1683], and [G2532] I was melted away [G5080]; and I esteem [G2233][G1161] myself [G1683] land '[G1093] and [G2532] ashes [G4700].
7: And it came to pass [G1096][G1161] after [G3326] the [G3588] speaking [G2980] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] all [G3956] the [G3588]se words [G4487][G3778] the [G3588] to Job, said [G2036] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] to Eliphaz the [G3588] Temanite, You sinned [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] two [G1417] friends [G5384] your [G1473], not [G3756] for [G1063] you spoke [G2980] before [G1799] me [G1473] true anything [G3762], as [G5618] the [G3588] my attendant [G2324][G1473] Job.
8: And now [G3568][G1161], take [G2983] seven [G2033] calves [G3448], and [G2532] seven [G2033] rams , and [G2532] go [G4198] to [G4314] the [G3588] my attendant [G2324][G1473] Job! and [G2532] he will offer [G4160] a yield [offering for [G4012] you [G1473], for [G3754] in no way [G1508] of his face [G4383][G1473] will I receive [G2983], for but [G1508][G1063] on account of [G1223] him [G1473] I [would] have destroyed you [G1473]. not [G3756] For [G1063] you did] speak [G2980] true concerning [G2596] the [G3588] my attendant [G2324][G1473] Job.
9: And they went [G4198][G1161] -- Eliphaz the [G3588] Temanite, and [G2532] Baldad the [G3588] Shuhite, and [G2532] Sophar the [G3588] Minean. And [G2532] they went [G4160] as [G2531] ordered [G4929] them [G1473] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] he dismissed [G3089] the [G3588]ir sin [G1473] because of [G1223] Job.
10: And the [G3588][G1161] Boss '[G2962] increased the [G3588] Job. making a vow [G2172] And [G1161] of of him '[G1473] and [G2532] because of [being [G4012] the [G3588] his friends [G5384][G1473] he forgave to them [G1473] the [G3588] sin . gave [G1325] And [G1161] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] double [G1362], as much as [G3745] was Job's before [G1715], by [G1519] doubling .
11: heard And [G1161] all [G3956] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] his sisters [G1473] all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] coming to pass [G4819] to him [G1473]. And [G2532] came [G2064] to [G4314] him [G1473] even [G2532] all [G3956] as many as [G3745] knew [G1492] him [G1473] at [G1537] first [G4413]. And eating [G2068][G1161] and [G2532] drinking [G4095] with [G3844] him [G1473], they comforted [G3870] him [G1473]. And [G2532] they wondered [G2296] upon [G1909] all [G3956] which [G3739] brought [G1863] upon [G1909] him [G1473] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]. they gave [G1325] And [G1161] to him [G1473] each [G1538] ewe-lamb one [G1520], and [G2532] a four-drachma gold [G5552] [piece] of unmarked .
12: And the [G3588][G1161] Boss '[G2962] blessed [G2127] the [G3588] latter end [G2078] of Job than [G2228] for the [G3588]mer [G1715]. was And [G1161] the [G3588] cattle [G2934] of him '[G1473] -- sheep [G4263] ten-thousand [G3463] four thousand [G5070], camels [G2574] six thousand , teams [G2201] of oxen [G1016] a thousand [G5507], donkeys [G3688] female [G2338] grazing a thousand [G5507].
13: And there were born [G1080][G1161] to him [G1473] sons [G5207] seven [G2033] and [G2532] daughters [G2364] three [G5140].
14: And [G2532] he called [G2564] the [G3588][G3303] first [G4413], Day, and the [G3588][G1161] second [G1208], Keziah, and the [G3588][G1161] third [G5154], Amalthaia's Horn [G2768].
15: And [G2532] there were not [G3756] found [G2147] according to [G2596] the [G3588] daughters [G2364] of Job better than they [G1473] among [the places [G1722] the [G3588] under [G5259] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]. gave [G1325] And [G1161] to them [G1473] [their the [G3588] father [G3962] an inheritance [G2817] among [G1722] the [G3588] brothers .
16: lived [G2198] And [G1161] Job] after [G3326] the [G3588] calamity [G4127] years [G2094] a hundred [G1540] forty [G5062]. And [G2532] Job saw [G1492] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473], [to the] fourth [G5067] generation [G1074].
17: And [G2532] Job came to an end [G5053] an old man [G4245] and [G2532] full [G4134] of days [G2250].
