And it came to pass [G1096][G1161] as [G5613] the [G3588] this day [occurred [G2250][G3778], and [G2532] came [G2064] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] to stand [G3936] before [G1726] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] the [G3588] devil [G1228] came [G2064] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of them [G1473] to stand [G3936] before [G1726] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].

And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] to the [G3588] devil [G1228], From what place [G4159] come you [G1473][G2064]? Then [G5119] said [G2036] the [G3588] devil [G1228] before [G1726] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], Traveling over [G1279] the [place] the [G3588] under [G5259] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] walking about [G1704] the [G3588] whole [the place at hand [G3918].

said [G2036] And [G1161] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] the [G3588] devil [G1228], [Have] you taken heed [G4337] then [G3767] [to the [G3588] my attendant [G2324][G1473] Job, that [G3754] there not [G3756] is according to [G2596] him [G1473] of the [ones] the [G3588] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], a man not wicked , true , blameless , godly [G2318], [and] at a distance from all [G3956] evil [G2556]? But still [G2089][G1161] he has [G2192] innocence , but you [G1473][G1161] spoke [G2036] the [G3588] his substance [G5224][G1473] without cause to destroy .

undertaking [G5274] But [G1161] the [G3588] devil [G1228], said [G2036] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], Skin [G1192] for [G5228] skin [G1192], and [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] exists [G5224] to a man for [G5228] the [G3588] his life [G5590][G1473] he will give [G1325].

the [G3588] But in fact [G3375][G1161], but you send the [G3588] your hand [G5495][G1473] to touch the [G3588] his bones [G3747][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] his flesh [G4561][G1473], assuredly [G2229] in [G1519] face [G4383] of you [G1473] he will rave [G2127].

said [G2036] And [G1161] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] to the [G3588] devil [G1228], look [G2400], I deliver [G3860] him to you [G1473][G1473], only [G3440] the [G3588] his life [G5590][G1473] you guard [G5442]!

And [G2532] went forth [G1831] the [G3588] devil [G1228] from the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] smote [G3817] the [G3588] Job sore [G1668] with a severe [G4190] from feet [G4228] unto [G2193] head [G2776].

And [G2532] he took [G2983] to himself [G1438] a potsherd so as [G2443] the [G3588] pus to scrape ; and [G2532] he [G1473] sat down [G2521] within [G1787] the [G3588] ashes [G4700].

And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473], Until [G3360] how long [G5100] will you persevere [G2594]? But speak [G2036] any [G5100] word [G4487] to [G4314] God '[G2316], and [G2532] come to an end [G5053]!

And he the [G3588][G1161], looking [G1689] to her [G1473] said [G2036], Why [G2444] as [G5618] one [G1520] of the [G3588] foolish women [G1135] did you speak [G2980]? If [G1487] the [G3588] good [things] we looked [for [G1551] from [G1537] hand [G5495] of Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] bad [G2556] will we not [G3756] endure [G5297]? In [G1722] all [G3956] these [things] [G3778], the [G3588] [ones] coming to pass [G4819] to him [G1473], not one [thing] [G3762] Job sinned [with his the [G3588] lips [G5491] before [G1726] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].

hearing And [G1161] the [G3588] three [G5140] friends [G5384] of him '[G1473] the [G3588] bad [things] [G2556] all [G3956] the [G3588] coming upon [G1904] him [G1473], came [G3854] each [G1538] from [G1537] their the [G3588] own [G2398] place [G5561] to [G4314] him [G1473]. Eliphaz the [G3588] Temanite -- a king , Baldad the [G3588] Shuhite -- a sovereign [G5181], Zophar the [G3588] Minaean -- a king . And [G2532] they came [G3854] to [G4314] him [G1473] with one accord [G3661] the [G3588] to comfort [G3870] and [G2532] visit [G1980] him [G1473].

And seeing [G1492][G1161] him [G1473] at a distance [G4207], they did not recognize [him [G3756][G1921]. And [G2532] they yelled voice [G5456] [with] a great [G3173], [and] wept [G2799], tearing [G4486] each [G1538] the [G3588] his own [G1438] apparel [G4749], and [G2532] strewing land '[G1093].

And they sat beside [G3869] him [G1473] seven [G2033] days [G2250] and [G2532] seven [G2033] nights [G3571], and [G2532] not one [G3762] of them [G1473] spoke [G2980] to [G4314] him [G1473] a word [G3056]; for they saw [G3708][G1063] the [G3588] calamity [G4127] awful being , and [G2532] great [G3173] [it was] exceedingly [G4970].
