1: I am [G1473] the [G3588] grapevine the [G3588] true , and [G2532] the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473] the [G3588] grower [G1092] is .
2: Every [G3956] vine branch [G2814] in [G1722] me [G1473] not [G3361] bearing [G5342] fruit [G2590], he takes it [G1473]; and [G2532] every [one [G3956] the [G3588] fruit [G2590] bearing [G5342], he cleanses [G2508] it [G1473], that [G2443] more [G4183] fruit [G2590] it should bear [G5342].
3: Already [G2235] you [G1473] are clean [G2513] through [G1223] the [G3588] word [G3056] which [G3739] I have spoken [G2980] to you [G1473].
4: Abide [G3306] in [G1722] me [G1473], and I [G2504] in [G1722] you [G1473]! As [G2531] the [G3588] vine branch [G2814] is not able [G3756][G1410] fruit [G2590] to bear [G5342] off itself [G1438], unless [G1437][G3361] it should abide [G3306] in [G1722] the [G3588] grapevine , so [G3779] not even [G3761] you [G1473], unless [G1437][G3361] in [G1722] me [G1473] you should abide [G3306].
5: I am [G1473] the [G3588] grapevine , you [are [G1473] the [G3588] vine branches [G2814]. the [G3588] [one] abiding [G3306] in [G1722] me [G1473], and I [G2504] in [G1722] him [G1473], this one [G3778] bears [G5342] fruit [G2590] much [G4183]; for [G3754] apart from [G5565] me [G1473] you are not able [G3756][G1410] to do [G4160] anything [G3762].
6: Unless [G1437][G3361] one [G5100] should abide [G3306] in [G1722] me [G1473], he is thrown outside [G1854] as [G5613] the [G3588] vine branch [G2814], and [G2532] withers [G3583]; and [G2532] they gather [G4863] them [G1473], and [G2532] [them] into [G1519] fire [G4442] cast , and [G2532] [they] are burned [G2545].
7: If [G1437] you abide [G3306] in [G1722] me [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] my words [G4487][G1473] in [G1722] you [G1473] abide [G3306], whatever [G3739][G1437] you should want [G2309], ask ! and [G2532] it will be [G1096] to you [G1473].

9: As [G2531] loved me [G1473] the [G3588] father [G3962], I also [G2504] loved you [G1473]; abide [G3306] in [G1722] the [G3588] love , in the [G3588] [one] mine [G1699]!
10: If [G1437] the [G3588] my commandments [G1785][G1473] you should keep [G5083], you will abide [G3306] in [G1722] the [G3588] my love [G1473]; as [G2531] I [G1473] the [G3588] commandments [G1785] of the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473] have kept [G5083], and [G2532] I abide [G3306] of of him '[G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] love .
11: These [things] [G3778] I have spoken [G2980] to you [G1473], that [G2443] the [G3588] joy [G5479] the [G3588] my [G1699] in [G1722] you [G1473] should abide [G3306], and [G2532] the [G3588] yjoy [G5479] of us [G1473] should be full [G4137].
12: This [G3778] is the [G3588] commandment [G1785] the [G3588] my [G1699], That [G2443] you love one another ! as [G2531] I loved you [G1473].
13: Greater [G3173] love [than] this [G3778] no one [G3762] has [G2192], that [G2443] one [G5100] the [G3588] his life [G5590][G1473] should place [G5087] for [G5228] the [G3588] his friends [G5384][G1473].
14: You [G1473] my friends [G5384][G1473] are , if [G1437] you should do [G4160] as much as [G3745] I [G1473] give charge [G1781] to you [G1473].

16: not [G3756] You [G1473] chose me [G1473][G1586], but I [G1473] chose [G1586] you [G1473], and [G2532] appointed [G5087] you [G1473], that [G2443] you [G1473] should go [G5217] and [G2532] fruit [G2590] bear [G5342], and [G2532] the [G3588] your fruit [G2590][G1473] should abide [G3306]; that [G2443] whatever [G3739][G5100] you should ask the [G3588] father [G3962] in [G1722] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473], he should give [G1325] to you [G1473].
17: These [things] [G3778] I give charge [G1781] to you [G1473], that [G2443] you should love one another .
18: If [G1487] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889] detests you [G1473][G3404], know [G1097] that [G3754] me [G1473] first [G4412] [before] you [G1473] it detested [G3404]!
19: If [G1487] of [G1537] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889] you were , the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889] would the [G3588] its own [G2398] be fond of [G5368]; but because [G3754][G1161] of [G1537] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889] you are not [G3756], but I [G1473] chose [G1586] you [G1473] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889], on account of [G1223] this [G3778] detests [G3404] you [G1473] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889].
20: Remember [G3421] the [G3588] word [G3056] which [G3739] I [G1473] said [G2036] to you [G1473]! not [G3756] is A servant [G1401] greater than [G3173] the [G3588] his boss [G2962][G1473]. If [G1487] me [G1473] they pursued [G1377], also [G2532] you [G1473] they will pursue [G1377]. If [G1487] the [G3588] my word [G3056][G1473] they give heed to [G5083], then [G2532] the [G3588] yours [G5212] they will give heed to [G5083].
21: But all these [things] [G3778][G3956] they will do [G4160] to you [G1473] because of [G1223] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473], for [G3754] they know not [G3756][G1492] the [G3588] [one] having sent [G3992] me [G1473].
22: Unless [G1508] I came [G2064] and [G2532] spoke [G2980] to them [G1473], sin they [had] not had [G3756][G2192]; but now [G3568][G1161] an excuse [G4392] they have not [G3756][G2192] concerning [G4012] the [G3588]ir sin [G1473].
23: the [one] [G3588] detesting me [G1473][G3404], even [G2532] the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473] detests [G3404].
24: If [G1487] the [G3588] works [G2041] I did not [G3361][G4160] among [G1722] them [G1473] which [G3739] no [G3762] other has done [G4160], sin they [had] not had [G3756][G2192]; but now [G3568][G1161] even [G2532] they have seen [G3708] and [G2532] have detested [G3404] even [G2532] me [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473].
25: But that [G2443] should be fulfilled [G4137] the [G3588] word [G3056] the [G3588] having been written [G1125] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir law [G3551][G1473] that [G3754], They detested [G3404] me [G1473] without a charge [G1431].
26: But whenever [G3752][G1161] should come [G2064] the [G3588] comforter [G3875], whom [G3739] I [G1473] send [G3992] to you [G1473] from [G3844] the [G3588] father [G3962], the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of the [G3588] truth , who [G3739] from [G3844] the [G3588] father [G3962] goes forth [G1607], that one [G1565] will witness [G3140] concerning [G4012] me [G1473];
27: also [G2532] and you [G1473][G1161] witness [G3140], for [G3754] from beginning with [G3326] me [G1473] you were .
