1: You are righteous [G1342], O Boss '[G2962], that [G3754] I may plead to [G4314] you [G1473]. only [G4133] [concerning] judgments [G2917] I will speak [G2980] to [G4314] you [G1473]. Why [is it [G5100] that [G3754] way [G3598] of impious prospers [G2137]? prospered All [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] disrespecting in wickedness .
2: You planted [G5452] them [G1473], and [G2532] they were rooted [G4492]. They produced children , and [G2532] they produced [G4160] fruit [G2590]. near [G1451] are You [G1473] the [G3588]ir mouth [G4750][G1473], and [G2532] at a distance [G4206] from the [G3588]ir kidneys [G3510][G1473].
3: And [G2532] you [G1473], O Boss '[G2962], know [G1097] me [G1473]. You have tried [G1381] the [G3588] my heart [G2588][G1473] before [G1726] you [G1473]. Gather [G4863] them [G1473] as [G5613] a flock [G4168] for [G1519] a sacrifice [G2378], and [G2532] purify them [G1473] for [G1519] day [G2250] of slaughter [G4967]!
4: For [G2193] how long [G4219] will mourn [G3996] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] grass [G5528] of the [G3588] field be dried [G3583], because off evils [G2549] of the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] it [G1473]? were removed from view cattle [G2934] and [G2532] winged creatures [G4071]; for [G3754] they said [G2036], will not [G3756] see [G3708] the [G3588] God '[G2316] our ways [G3598][G1473].
5: Your [G1473] the [G3588] feet [G4228] run [G5143], and [G2532] they cause you to faint [G1590][G1473]. How [G4459] will you make preparations [G3903] [to ride] upon [G1909] horses [G2462]? and [G2532] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of your peace [G1515][G1473] you have relied [G3982]. How [G4459] will you do [G4160] in [G1722] neighing of the [G3588] Jordan?
6: For [G3754] even [G2532] the [G3588] your brothers [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] father [G3962] of you [G1473], even [G2532] they [G1473] disregarded you [G1473]; and [G2532] they [G1473] yelled out ; at [G1537] the [G3588] your rear [G3694][G1473] they assembled [G1996]; you should not [G3361] trust '[G4100] in [G1722] them [G1473] when [G3753] they speak [G2980] with [G4314] you [G1473] good [words [G2570].
7: I have abandoned [G1459] the [G3588] my house [G3624][G1473]; I let go of the [G3588] my inheritance [G2817][G1473]; I gave [G1325] the [G3588] [one] being loved of soul [G5590] of me [G1473] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of her enemies [G2190][G1473].
8: became [G1096] the [G3588] My inheritance [G2817][G1473] to me [G1473] as [G5613] a lion [G3023] in [G1722] forest ; she uttered [G1325] against [G1909] me [G1473] the [G3588] her voice [G5456][G1473]; on account of [G1223] this [G3778] I detested [G3404] her [G1473].
9: Is not [G3361] cave [G4693] of a hyena the [G3588] my inheritance [G2817][G1473] to me [G1473], the [G3588] cave [G4693] round about [G2945] her [G1473] against [G1909] her [G1473]? Proceed , bring together [G4863] all [G3956] the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342] of the [G3588] field , and [G2532] let them come [G2064] the [G3588] to eat [G2068] her [G1473]!
10: shepherds [G4166] Many [G4183] corrupted [G1311] the [G3588] my vineyard [G1473], they tainted [G3435] the [G3588] my portion [G3310][G1473]; they made [G1325] portion [G3310] my desirable [G1473] for [G1519] wilderness [G2048] an untrodden .
11: It was appointed [G5087] for [G1519] extinction by destruction ; on account of [G1223] me [G1473] in extinction was obliterated all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093], for [G3754] there is no [G3756] man putting [G5087] it to [G1722] heart [G2588].
12: Upon [G1909] every [G3956] mountain pass in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] came [G2064] ones causing misery [G5003]. For [G3754] sword [G3162] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] will devour [G2719] from [one] tip of the [G3588] land '[G1093] unto [G2193] [the other] tip of the [G3588] land '[G1093]; there is no [G3756] peace [G1515] to all [G3956] flesh [G4561].
13: You sowed [G4687] wheat , and [G2532] thorn-bushes harvested [G2325]. the [G3588]ir lots [G2819][G1473] will not [G3756] benefit them [G5623][G1473]. Be ashamed off your boasting [G2746][G1473], because off scorn [G3680] before [G1726] Boss '[G2962]!
14: For [G3754] thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], Concerning [G4012] all [G3956] the [G3588] neighbors [G1069] the [G3588] wicked [G4190] of the [G3588] [ones] touching the [G3588] my inheritance [G2817][G1473], which [G3739] I portioned [G3307] [to the [G3588] my people [G2992][G1473] Israel -- look [G2400], I [G1473] draw them away [G1473] from the [G3588]ir land '[G1093][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] Judah I will cast out [G1544] from [G1537] midst [G3319] of them [G1473].
15: And [G2532] it will be after [G3326] the [G3588] casting out [G1544] my [G1473] them [G1473], I will return [G1994], and [G2532] I will show compassion [G1653] on them [G1473], and [G2532] I will settle them [G1473] each [G1538] in [G1519] the [G3588] his inheritance [G2817][G1473], and [G2532] each [G1538] in [G1519] the [G3588] his land '[G1093][G1473].
16: And [G2532] it will be if [G1437] in learning [G3129] they should learn [G3129] the [G3588] way [G3598] of the [G3588] my people [G2992][G1473], the [G3588] to swear by an oath [G3660] [to the [G3588] my name, [saying [G3686][G1473], As BOSS lives [G2198][G2962]; as [G2531] they taught [G1321] the [G3588] people [G2992] of me [G1473] to swear by an oath [G3660] [to the [G3588] Baal, then [G2532] they will be edified [G3618] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] my people [G2992][G1473].
17: But if [G1437][G1161] they should not [G3361] return [G1994], then [G2532] I will lift away [G1808] that tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484][G1565] by removal and [G2532] destruction , says [G3004] Boss '[G2962].
