Isaiah Chapter 41 - | Early Church Bible

1: Dedicate [a feast [G1457] to [G4314] me [G1473], O islands [G3520], for the [G3588][G1473] rulers will change strength [G2479]. Let them approach [G1448] and [G2532] speak [G2980] together , then [G5119] judgment [G2920] let them announce !
2: Who [G5100] awakened [G1825] from east righteousness [G1343], called [G2564] it [G1473] by [G2596] his feet [G4228][G1473], and [G2532] it will go [G4198]? He will appoint [G1325] against [G1726] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], and [G2532] kings he will recede [G1839], and [G2532] he will put [G1325] into [G1519] land '[G1093] the [G3588]ir swords [G3162][G1473], and [G2532] as [G5613] sticks [G5434] being pushed out [G1856] the [G3588]ir bows [G5115][G1473].
3: And [G2532] he will pursue [G1377] them [G1473]; will go through [G1330] in [G1722] peace [G1515] the [G3588] way [G3598] of the [G3588] his feet [G4228][G1473].
4: Who [G5100] exerted energy [G1754] and [G2532] did [G4160] these [things] [G3778]? He called [G2564] her [G1473] -- the [G3588] [one] calling [G2564] her [G1473] from of generations [G1074] beginning ; I [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316], first [G4413] and [G2532] into [G1519] the [G3588] coming [G1904], I [G1473] am .
5: looked [at] [G1492] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] and [G2532] they feared [G5399]; the [G3588] tips of the [G3588] land '[G1093] are startled [G1839]; they approached [G1448] and [G2532] came [G2064] together ,
6: judging [G2919] each [G1538] for the [G3588] neighbor [G4139], and [G2532] for the [G3588] brother helping ; and [G2532] will say [G2046],
7: was strong [G2480] The man -- fabricator [G5045], and [G2532] brazier [G5471] beating [G5180] with a hammer together forging [G1643]; how long [G4219] then [G3303] will he say [G2046], coupling is good [G2570], they strengthened them [G1473] with [G1722] nails [G2247]; they will establish [G5087] them [G1473], and [G2532] it will not be moved [G3756][G2795].
8: But you [G1473][G1161], O Israel my servant [G3816][G1473], Jacob whom [G3739] I chose [G1586], seed [G4690] of Abraham whom [G3739] I loved ;
9: whom [G3739] I took hold of from uttermost parts of the [G3588] land '[G1093]; and [G2532] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] its heights [G1473] I called [G2564] you [G1473]; and [G2532] I said [G2036] to you [G1473], servant [G3816] You are my [G1473]; I chose [G1586] you [G1473], and [G2532] I did not [G3756] abandon [G1459] you [G1473].
10: Do not [G3361] fear [G5399]! with [G3326] you [G1473] for [G1063] I am . Do not [G3361] wander [G4105]! for I [G1473][G1063] am the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473]; the [G3588] [one] strengthening [G1765] you [G1473], and [G2532] I will give help to you [G1473], and [G2532] safeguard you [G1473] the [G3588] right [hand] [G1188] the [G3588] by my just [G1342][G1473].
11: look [G2400], will be ashamed and [G2532] will be respectful [G1788] all [G3956] the [G3588] your adversaries [G1473], for they will be [G1063] as [G5613] not [G3756] existing [G5224]; and [G2532] will perish all [G3956] the [G3588] your opponents [G1473].
12: You will seek [G2212] them [G1473], and [G2532] in no way will you find [G2147] the [G3588] men who [G3739] will insult while drunk with wine against [G1519] you [G1473]; for they will be [G1063] as [G5613] ones not [G3756] being ; and [G2532] will not [G3756] be the [G3588] [ones] waging war against you [G1473].
13: For [G3754] I [am [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], the [G3588] [one] holding [G2902] the [G3588] your right [hand] [G1188][G1473], the [G3588] [one] saying [G3004] to you [G1473],
14: Do not [G3361] fear [G5399], O Jacob, O Israel, very few in number ! I [G1473] gave help to you [G1473], says [G3004] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], the [G3588] [one] ransoming [G3084] you [G1473], O Israel.
15: look [G2400], I made [G4160] you [G1473] as [G5613] wheels [G5164] of a wagon threshing -- new [G2537], toothed ; and [G2532] you will thresh raised-places (mountains) '[G3735], and [G2532] will thin out hills [G1015], and [G2532] as [G5613] dust make [them [G5087].
16: And [G2532] you will winnow [them [G3039], and [G2532] a wind will take [G2983] them [G1473], and [G2532] gale will scatter [G1289] them [G1473]. But you [G1473][G1161] will be glad [G2165] among [G1722] the [G3588] holy ones of Israel.
17: And [G2532] will jump much the [G3588] [ones] begging [G4434] and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] lacking [G1729]; for they will seek [G2212][G1063] water [G5204] and [G2532] none [G3756] will be ; the [G3588]ir tongue [G1100][G1473] from the [G3588] thirst was dried up [G3583]. I [G1473] Boss '[G2962] will heed [G1873], the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, and [G2532] I will not [G3756] abandon [G1459] them [G1473].
18: But I will open upon [G1909] the [G3588] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735] rivers [G4215], and [G2532] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of plains springs [G4077]; I will make [G4160] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] into [G1519] marshes of waters [G5204], and [G2532] the [G3588] thirsting [G1372] land '[G1093] in [G1722] aqueducts .
19: I will put [G5087] into [G1519] the [G3588] waterless land '[G1093] cedar [G2748] and [G2532] boxwood , and [G2532] myrtle , and [G2532] cypress , and [G2532] white poplar ;
20: that [G2443] they should look [at] [G1492], and [G2532] should know [G1097], and [G2532] should reflect on , and [G2532] should have knowledge of [G1987] together that [G3754] hand [G5495] of Boss '[G2962] did [G4160] these [things] [G3778], and [G2532] the [G3588] holy one of the [G3588] Israel introduced [them .
21: approaches [G1448] the [G3588] Your judgment [G2920][G1473], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316]; approached [G1448] the [G3588] your counsels [G1012][G1473], says [G3004] the [G3588] king of Jacob.
22: Let them approach [G1448] and [G2532] announce to you [G1473]! what [G3739] will come to pass [G4819], or [G2228] the [things] [G3588] prior to [G4387] what [G5100] it was you said [G2036]. And [G2532] we will attend [G2186] the [G3588] our mind [G3563], and [G2532] we will know [G1097] what [G3739] the [G3588] last [things] [G2078] and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] coming [are [G1904].
23: Tell [G2036] to us [G1473]! announce the [things] [G3588] coming [G1904] at [G1909] latter end [G2078]! and [G2532] we will know [G1097] that [G3754] you are gods '[G2316]. good [G2095] Do [G4160] and [G2532] do evil [G2559]! and [G2532] we will wonder [G2296], and [G2532] we will see [G3708] at the same time ;
24: for [G3754] from what place [G4159] you are [G1473], and [G2532] from what place [G4159] the [G3588] your work is from [G2039][G1473]; out of [G1537] land '[G1093] an abomination they chose [G1586] you [G1473].
25: But I [G1473][G1161] raised up [G1453] the [G3588] [one] from north [G1005], and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] from sun [G2246] eastward ; they will be called [G2564] the [G3588] by name [G3686] of me [G1473]; let come [G2064] rulers ! and [G2532] as [G5613] clay [G4081] of a potter [G2763], and [G2532] as [G5613] a potter [G2763] trampling down [G2662] the [G3588] clay [G4081], so [G3779] you will be trampled [G2662].
26: For who [G5100][G1063] will announce the [things] [G3588] from [G1537] beginning , that [G2443] we should know [G1097] also [G2532] the [things] [G3588] [happening] before [G1715], and [G2532] we will say [G2046] that [G3754] they are true ? There not [G3756] is the [G3588] [one] speaking beforehand [G4302], nor [G3761] one the [G3588] hearing your [G1473] the [G3588] words [G3056].
27: sovereignty to Zion I will give [G1325], and [G2532] I will comfort Jerusalem [G3870] in [G1519] way [G3598].
28: For from [G1063] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], look [G2400], [there was] no one [G3762]; and [G2532] from the [G3588]ir idols [G1497][G1473] there was not [G3756] the [G3588] [one] announcing . And [G2532] if [G1437] I should ask [G2065] them [G1473], From what place [G4159] are you ? in no way should they answer me [G1473].
29: For they are [G1063] the [G3588] [ones] making [G4160] you, [so you say [G1473], and [G2532] in folly [G3155] ones misleading [G4105] you [G1473].
