Ezekiel Chapter 14 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] there came [G2064] to [G4314] me [G1473] men from [G1537] the [G3588] elders [G4245] of the [G3588] people [G2992] of Israel, and [G2532] they sat down [G2523] before [G4253] my face [G4383][G1473].
2: And [G2532] came to pass [G1096] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], saying [G3004],
3: Son [G5207] of man , the [G3588]se men [G3778] set [G5087] the [G3588]ir thoughts [G1270][G1473] in [G1909] the [G3588]ir hearts [G2588], and [G2532] the [G3588] punishment [G2851] of the [G3588]ir iniquities set [G5087] before [G4253] their face [G4383][G1473]. will [G1487] in answering I answer them, [no [G1473].
4: On account of [G1223] this [G3778], speak [G2980] to them [G1473]! And [G2532] you will say [G2046] to [G4314] them [G1473], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962]; A man , a man from out of [G1537] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Israel who [G3739] ever should put [G5087] the [G3588] his considerations [G1270][G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] punishment [G2851] for the [G3588] his iniquities [G1473] should arrange [G5021] before [G4253] his face [G4383][G1473], and [G2532] should come [G2064] to [G4314] the [G3588] [false] prophet [G4396]; I [G1473] Boss '[G2962] will answer him [G1473] by [G1722] them [G1473], in [G1722] the [things] which [G3739] [are] within [G1758] [in the [G3588] his mind [G1271][G1473],
5: so that [G3704] he should bend away the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] Israel according to [G2596] the [G3588]ir hearts [G2588][G1473], the [G3588] [ones] being separated from me [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir thoughts [G1473].
6: Because of [G1223] this [G3778], say [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] Israel! Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962]; Turn [G1994] and [G2532] turn away from the [G3588] your practices [G1473], and [G2532] from all [G3956] the [G3588] impious deeds your [G1473], and [G2532] turn [G1994] the [G3588] your faces [G4383]!
7: For [G1360] a man , a man from [G1537] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Israel, and [G2532] from [G1537] for the [G3588]eigners [G4339] of the [G3588] [ones] converting in [G1722] the [G3588] Israel, who [G3739] ever should separate from me [G1473], and [G2532] set [G5087] the [G3588] his thoughts [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] punishment [G2851] for the [G3588] his iniquities [G1473] should arrange [G5021] before [G4253] his face [G4383][G1473], and [G2532] should come [G2064] to [G4314] the [G3588] [false] prophet [G4396] the [G3588] to ask [G1905] him [G1473] concerning [G1722] me [G1473], I [G1473] Boss '[G2962] will answer to him [G1473] in [G1722] the [things] which [G3739] he presses [G1758] in [G1722] them [G1473].
8: And [G2532] I will firmly fix [G4741] the [G3588] my face [G4383][G1473] against [G1909] the [G3588] that man , and [G2532] I will appoint [G5087] him [G1473] for [G1519] a desolate [place] [G2048] and [G2532] for [G1519] extinction , and [G2532] I will lift him away [G1808][G1473] from [G1537] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] my people [G2992][G1473]; and [G2532] you will realize [G1921] that [G3754] I [am [G1473] Boss '[G2962].
9: And [G2532] the [G3588] prophet [G4396], if [G1437] he should be mislead [G4105] and [G2532] should say [G2980] a word [G3056], I [G1473] Boss '[G2962] have misled [G4105] the [G3588] that prophet [G4396][G1565]; and [G2532] I will stretch out [G1614] the [G3588] my hand [G5495][G1473] against [G1909] him [G1473], and [G2532] I will remove him [G1473] from out of [G1537] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] my people [G2992] Israel.
10: And [G2532] they will bear [G2983] the [G3588]ir iniquity [G1473] according to [G2596] of the [G3588]fence of the [G3588] [one] asking [G1905]; likewise [G5615] also [G2532] of the [G3588]fence of the [G3588] prophet [G4396] it will be ;
11: so that [G3704] should not [G3361] be misled [G4105] still [G2089] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] Israel] from me [G1473]; and [G2532] that [G2443] they should not [G3361] be defiled [G3392] still [G2089] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588]ir transgressions [G3900][G1473]; and [G2532] they will be to me [G1473] for [G1519] a people [G2992], and [G2532] I [G1473] will be to them [G1473] for [G1519] God '[G2316], says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962].
12: And [G2532] came [G1096] word [G3056] [of the] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], saying [G3004],
13: O son [G5207] of man , a land '[G1093], [G3739] if [G1437] it should sin against me [G1473] the [G3588] to fall into [G3895] transgression [G3900], then [G2532] I will stretch out [G1614] the [G3588] my hand [G5495][G1473] against [G1909] it [G1473], and [G2532] I will break [G4937] its [G1473] reliance on bread , and [G2532] I will send [G1821] upon [G1909] it [G1473] famine [G3042], and [G2532] I will lift away [G1808] from [G1537] it [G1473] man and [G2532] beast [G2934].
14: And [G2532] if [G1437] might be the [G3588] three [G5140] men these [G3778] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of it [G1473], Noah, and [G2532] Daniel, and [G2532] Job, these [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir righteousness [G1343][G1473] will be delivered [G4982], says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962].
15: And if [G1437][G2532] wild beasts [G2342] ferocious [G4190] I bring [G1863] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] punish [G5097] it [G1473], and [G2532] it will be for [G1519] extinction , and [G2532] there will not be [G3756] [one] the [G3588] traveling through [G1353] because off countenance [G4383] of the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342],
16: and [G2532] the [G3588] three [G5140] men these [G3778] [were] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of it [G1473]; as I live [G2198][G1473], says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962], will [G1487] sons [G5207] or [G2228] daughters [G2364] be delivered, [no [G4982]. Only these [G1473] alone [G3441] will be delivered [G4982], but the [G3588][G1161] land '[G1093] will be for [G1519] ruin [G3639].
17: Or [G2228] even [G2532] a broadsword [G4501] if [G1437] I bring [G1863] against [G1909] the [G3588] that land '[G1093][G1565], and [G2532] I should say [G2036], Let broadsword [G4501] go [G1330] through [G1223] the [G3588] land '[G1093]! and [G2532] I will lift away [G1808] from out of [G1537] them [G1473] man and [G2532] beast [G2934].
18: And [if [G2532] three [G5140] men these [G3778] [were] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of it [G1473], [as] I live [G2198][G1473], says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962], that [G3754] in no way will be rescued [G4506] sons [G5207] nor [G3761] daughters [G2364], but these [G1473] alone [G3441] will be delivered [G4982].
19: Or [G2228] also [G2532] a plague [G2288] if [G1437] I should send] as a successor upon [G1909] the [G3588] that land '[G1093][G1473], and [G2532] I will pour out [G1632] the [G3588] my rage [G2372][G1473] upon [G1909] it [G1473] in [G1722] blood , the [G3588] to utterly destroy [G1842] from out of [G1537] it [G1473] man and [G2532] beast [G2934],
20: and [G2532] Noah, and [G2532] Daniel, and [G2532] Job [be] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of it [G1473], as I live [G2198][G1473], says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962], neither [G1437] sons [G5207] or [G2228] daughters [G2364] will be delivered [G1807], but [G3754] they [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir righteousness [G1343][G1473] will rescue [G4506] the [G3588]ir souls [G5590][G1473].
21: Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962]; But if [G1437][G1161] also [G2532] the [G3588] four [G5064] punishments [G1557] my [G1473] -- the [G3588] ferocious [G4190] broadsword [G4501], and [G2532] famine [G3042], and [G2532] wild beasts [G2342] ferocious [G4190], and [G2532] plague [G2288], I should send out [G1821] upon [G1909] Jerusalem the [G3588] to utterly destroy [G1842] from out of [G1537] it [G1473] man and [G2532] beast [G2934];
22: and [G2532] look [G2400], these [G1473] being left behind [G5275] in [G1722] it [G1473] -- the [G3588] [ones] escaping from [G1537] it [G1473], the ones who [G3748] will lead out [G1806] of [G1537] it [G1473] sons [G5207] and [G2532] daughters [G2364]; look [G2400], they [G1473] will go forth [G1607] to [G4314] you [G1473], and [G2532] you will see [G3708] the [G3588]ir ways [G3598][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir thoughts [G1473]; and [G2532] you will be repentant [G3338] over [G1909] the [G3588] hurts [G2556] which [G3739] I brought [G1863] upon [G1909] Jerusalem, for [G1909] all [G3956] which [G3739] I brought [G1863] upon [G1909] it [G1473].
23: That [G2532] they will comfort [G3870] you [G1473], because [G1360] you will see [G3708] the [G3588]irs ways [G3598][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir thoughts [G1473]. and [G2532] you will realize [G1921] that [G1360] not [G3756] in vain [G3155] I have done [G4160] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] I did [G4160] by [G1722] it [G1473], says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962].
