Exodus Chapter 19 - | Early Church Bible

1: And in the [G3588][G1161] month [G3376] the [G3588] third [G5154] of the [G3588] exodus [G1841] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel from [G1537] land '[G1093] Egypt, the [G3588] on this day [G2250][G3778] they came [G2064] into [G1519] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] of the [G3588] Sinai.
2: And [G2532] they lifted away [G1808] from [G1537] Rephidim, and [G2532] came [G2064] into [G1519] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] of the [G3588] Sinai, and [G2532] camped there [G1563] Israel] over against [G2713] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735].
3: And [G2532] Moses went up into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of the [G3588] God '[G2316]. And [G2532] called [G2564] him [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735], saying [G3004], Thus [G3592] you will say [G2046] to the [G3588] house [G3624] of Jacob, and [G2532] announce to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel,
4: to them [G1473] You have seen [G3708] as much as [G3745] I have done [G4160] -- to the [G3588] Egyptians. And [G2532] I took you [G1473] as [G5616] upon [G1909] wings [G4420] of eagles , and [G2532] led [G4317] you [G1473] to [G4314] myself [G1683].
5: And [G2532] now [G3568], if [G1437] in hearing , you should hear the [G3588] my [G1699] voice [G5456], and [G2532] guard [G5442] the [G3588] my covenant [G1242][G1473], you will be to me [G1473] people [G2992] a prized [G4041] from all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]. mine [G1699] For [G1063] is all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
6: And you [G1473][G1161] will be to me [G1473] a royal priesthood [G2406], and [G2532] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] a pure '. These [G3778] the [G3588] words [G4487] you will say [G2046] to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
7: came [G2064] And [G1161] Moses], and [G2532] called [G2564] the [G3588] elders [G4245] of the [G3588] people [G2992], and [G2532] placed near [G3908] them [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] words [G3056] these [G3778] which [G3739] gave orders [G4929] to them [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
8: answered And [G1161] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] with one accord [G3661], and [G2532] said [G2036], All [G3956], as much as [G3745] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], we will do [G4160], and [G2532] we will hearken . offered And [G1161] Moses] the [G3588] words [G3056] of the [G3588] people [G2992] to [G4314] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
9: said [G2036] And [G1161] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Moses, look [G2400], I [G1473] come [G3854] to [G4314] you [G1473] in [G1722] a column [G4769] of cloud [G3507], that [G2443] may hear the [G3588] people [G2992] me speaking [G2980][G1473] to [G4314] you [G1473], and [G2532] may trust you [G1473][G4100] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `. announced And [G1161] Moses] the [G3588] words [G4487] of the [G3588] people [G2992] to [G4314] Boss '[G2962].
10: said [G2036] And [G1161] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Moses, In going down [G2597], testify [G1263] to the [G3588] people [G2992], and [G2532] purify them [G1473] today [G4594] and [G2532] tomorrow , and [G2532] let them wash [G4150] the [G3588] [their] garments [G2440]!
11: And [G2532] let them be prepared [G2092] for [G1519] the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] third [G5154]! for the [G3588] [G1063] day [G2250] on the [G3588] third [G5154] will come down [G2597] Boss '[G2962] upon [G1909] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] Sinai before [G1726] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992].
12: And [G2532] you will separate the [G3588] people [G2992] round about [G2945], saying [G3004], Take heed [G4337] to yourselves [G1438] the [G3588] going up unto [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735], and [G2532] lightly touching [G2345] any [G5100] of it [G1473]. All [G3956] the [G3588] touching the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735], by death [G2288] he will come to an end [G5053].
13: will not touch it [G3756] His hand [G1473][G5495], for with [G1722][G1063] stones [G3037] they will be stoned [G3036] or [G2228] [with an] arrow [G1002] they will be shot [G2700]; if [it be [G1437] also [G5037] cattle [G2934], [or] if [it be [G1437] also [G5037] man , he will not [G3756] live [G2198]. And whenever [G3752][G1161] the [G3588] voices [G5456], and [G2532] the [G3588] trumpets [G4536], and [G2532] the [G3588] cloud [G3507] go forth from the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735], they [G1565] will go up to [G1909] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735].
14: went down [G2597] And [G1161] Moses] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] to [G4314] the [G3588] people [G2992], and [G2532] sanctified them [G1473]. And [G2532] they washed [G4150] the [G3588]ir garments [G2440][G1473].
15: And [G2532] he said [G2036] to the [G3588] people [G2992], Be [G1096] prepared [G2092] three [G5140] days [G2250], come forward not [G3361][G4334] to a woman [G1135].
16: And it came to pass [G1096][G1161] the [G3588] day [G2250] on the [G3588] third [G5154], happening [G1096] towards [G4314] dawn [G3722], and [G2532] there were [G1096] voices [G5456], and [G2532] lightnings , and [G2532] clouds [G3507] overcast upon [G1909] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Sinai; voice [G5456] of the [G3588] trumpet [G4536] sounded [G2278] greatly [G3173], and [G2532] were terrified [G4422] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588] in [G1722] the [G3588] camp [G3925].
17: And [G2532] Moses led [G1806] the [G3588] people [G2992] for [G1519] the [G3588] a meeting with [G4877] the [G3588] God '[G2316] from [G1537] the [G3588] camp [G3925]. And [G2532] they stood [G3936] by [G5259] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735].
18: The [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] Sinai smoked entirely [G3650] on account of [G1223] the [G3588] God coming down [G2597] the [G3588][G2316] upon [G1909] it [G1473] in [G1722] fire [G4442]. went up And [G1161] the [G3588] smoke [G2586] as [G5616] smoke [G2586] of a furnace [G2575]. And [G2532] amazed [G1839] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] [were] exceedingly [G4970].
19: And there were [G1096][G1161] the [G3588] sounds [G5456] of the [G3588] trumpet [G4536] advancing [G4260] strong [G2478] -- exceedingly [G4970]. Moses spoke [G2980], the [G3588] and [G1161] God '[G2316] answered to him [G1473] [by] voice [G5456].
20: came down [G2597] And [G1161] Boss '[G2962] upon [G1909] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] Sinai, upon [G1909] the [G3588] top of the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735]. And [G2532] BOSS called [G2564][G2962] Moses unto [G1909] the [G3588] top of the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735]; and [G2532] Moses went up .
21: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316] to [G4314] Moses, saying [G3004], Go down [G2597] to testify [G1263] to the [G3588] people [G2992]! lest at any time [G3379] they should approach [G1448] to [G4314] the [G3588] God '[G2316] to contemplate [G2657], and [G2532] should fall [G4098] of them [G1473] a multitude [G4128].
22: And [G2532] the [G3588] priests [G2409], the [G3588] [ones] approaching [G1448] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316], let them be sanctified ! lest at any time [G3379] should get rid off them [G1473] Boss '[G2962].
23: And [G2532] Moses said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] God '[G2316], will not [G3756] be able [G1410] the [G3588] people [G2992] to ascend [G4320] to [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] Sinai, for you [G1473][G1063] testified [G1263] to us [G1473], saying [G3004], Separate [from the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] and [G2532] sanctify it [G1473]!
24: said [G2036] And [G1161] to him [G1473] Boss '[G2962], Proceed , go down [G2597], and [G2532] [then] go up , you [G1473] and [G2532] Aaron with [G3326] you [G1473]! But the [G3588][G1161] priests [G2409] and [G2532] the [G3588] people [G2992] will not use force [G3361] to go up to [G4314] the [G3588] God '[G2316], lest at any time [G3379] should destroy [some] off them [G1473] Boss '[G2962].
25: went down [G2597] And [G1161] Moses] to [G4314] the [G3588] people [G2992], and [G2532] spoke [G2036] to them [G1473].
