Deuteronomy Chapter 17 - | Early Church Bible

1: You will not sacrifice [G3756][G2380] [to the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] a calf [G3448] or [G2228] sheep [G4263] in [G1722] which [G3739] there is in [G1722] it [G1473] a blemish [G3470], any [G3956] thing [G4487] in a sorry state [G4190], for [G3754] an abomination [to the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] it is .
2: But if [G1437][G1161] there should be [G2147] among [G1722] you [G1473], in [G1722] one [G1520] of the [G3588] your cities [G4172][G1473] which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] gives [G1325] to you [G1473], a man or [G2228] woman [G1135] who [G3739] will do [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] before [G1725] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], to pass by [G3928] the [G3588] his covenant [G1242][G1473],
3: and [G2532] going forth should serve [G3000] gods '[G2316] other [G2087], and [G2532] should do obeisance to [G4352] them [G1473] -- to the [G3588] sun [G2246], or [G2228] the [G3588] moon [G4582], or [G2228] to any [G3956] of the [G3588] [ones] of [G1537] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], which [G3739] I assigned not [G3756][G4367];
4: and [G2532] it should be announced to you [G1473], and [G2532] you heard , and [G2532] you sought [G2212] exceedingly [G4970], and [G2532] look [G2400], [if] truly has happened [G1096] the [G3588] thing [G4487] came to pass [G1096] the [G3588] [that] this abomination [G3778] in [G1722] Israel;
5: then [G2532] you will lead out [G1806] the [G3588] that man [G1565] or [G2228] the [G3588] that woman [G1135][G1565], (the ones who [G3748] made [G4160] the [G3588] order the [G3588] this wicked], [G4190][G3778]) unto [G2089] the [G3588] gate [G4439]. And [G2532] you will stone [G3036] them [G1473] with [G1722] stones [G3037], and [G2532] they will come to an end [G5053].
6: By [G1909] two [G1417] witnesses [G3144] or [G2228] three [G5140] witnesses [G3144] one will die . the [G3588] [one] dying will not [G3756] die by [G1909] one [G1520] witness [G3144].
7: And [G2532] the [G3588] hand [G5495] of the [G3588] witnesses [G3144] will be upon [G1909] him [G1473] among [G1722] first [G4413] to put him to death [G2289][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] hand [G5495] of all [G3956] of the [G3588] people [G2992] upon [him [G1909] last [G2078]. And [G2532] you will lift away [G1808] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] from [G1537] you [G1473] of them [G1473].
8: But if [G1437][G1161] should be powerless for you [to decide [G1473] a matter [G4487] in [G1722] a judgment [G2920], between blood [and] blood , and [G2532] between judgment [G2920] [and] judgment [G2920], and [G2532] between blow [and] blow , and [G2532] between dispute [and] dispute , for matters [G4487] of judgment [G2920] in [G1722] the [G3588] your cities [G4172][G1473]; then [G2532] rising up you will go up unto [G1519] the [G3588] place [G5117] which [G3739] ever should choose [G1586] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] to be called upon [G1941] for the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473] there [G1563].
9: And [G2532] you will come [G2064] to [G4314] the [G3588] priests [G2409] of the [G3588] Levites, and [G2532] to [G4314] the [G3588] judge [G2923], who [G3739] ever happens to be [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] those days [G2250][G1565]; and [G2532] seeking after [the matter [G1567] they will announce to you [G1473] the [G3588] judgment [G2920].
10: And [G2532] you will do [G4160] according to [G2596] the [G3588] thing [G4487], which [G3739] ever they should announce to you [G1473] from [G1537] the [G3588] place [G5117] of which [G3739] ever should choose [G1586] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473]. And [G2532] you will guard [G5442] exceedingly [G4970] to do [G4160] according to [G2596] all [G3956] as much [G3745] as law should be established [G3549] to you [G1473].
11: According to [G2596] the [G3588] law [G3551], and [G2532] according to [G2596] the [G3588] judgment [G2920], which [G3739] ever they should tell [G2036] to you [G1473], thus you will do it [G4160]. You will not [G3756] turn aside [G1578] from the [G3588] matter [G4487] of which [G3739] ever they should announce to you [G1473], right [G1188] nor [G3761] left .
12: And [G2532] the [G3588] man who [G3739] ever should do [G4160] in [G1722] pride [G5243] the [G3588] to not [G3361] obey [G5219] the [G3588] priest [G2409] the [G3588] standing beside [G3936] to officiate [G3008] in [G1909] the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], or [G2228] the [G3588] judge [G2923] who [G3739] ever should be [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] those days [G2250][G1565], then [G2532] will die the [G3588] that man [G1565], and [G2532] you will lift away [G1808] the [G3588] wicked [one [G4190] from out of [G1537] Israel.
13: And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] hearing will fear [G5399], and [G2532] will not [G3756] be impious any more [G2089].
14: And whenever [G1437][G1161] you should enter [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] gives [G1325] to you [G1473] by [G1722] lot [G2819], and [G2532] you should inherit [G2816] it [G1473], and [G2532] should dwell [G2730] upon [G1909] it [G1473], and [G2532] you should say [G2036], I will place [G2525] over [G1909] myself [G1683] a ruler , as [G2505] also [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] the [G3588] round about [G2945] me [G1473];
15: [then] in placing [G2525], you will place [G2525] over [G1909] yourself [G4572] a ruler , which [G3739] ever should choose [G1586] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] -- him [G1473] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] your brothers [G1473] you will place [G2525] over [G1909] yourself [G4572] [as] ruler . You will not [G3756] be able [G1410] to place [G2525] over [G1909] yourself [G4572] man an alien , for [G3754] not [G3756] your brother [G1473] he is .
16: Furthermore [G4133] he will not [G3756] multiply [G4129] to himself [G1438] a cavalry [G2462], nor will he return the [G3588] people [G2992] to [G1519] Egypt, so that [G3704] he should not multiply [G3361][G4129] to himself [G1438] a cavalry [G2462]. For the [G3588][G1161] Boss '[G2962] said [G2036] to you [G1473], You will not [G3756] add [G4369] to return the [G3588] this way [G3598][G3778] any more [G2089].
17: And [G2532] he will not [G3756] multiply [G4129] to himself [G1438] wives [G1135], that [G2443] he will not [G3361] change over [G3179] of him '[G1473] the [G3588] heart [G2588]. And [G2532] silver and [G2532] gold [G5553] he will not [G3756] multiply [G4129] to himself [G1438] exceedingly [G4970].
18: And [G2532] it will be whenever [G3752] he will be sat down [G2523] in [G1909] the [G3588] chair of the [G3588] his office [G1473], then [G2532] he will write [G1125] for himself [G1438] the [G3588] this second book of the law [G3778] into [G1519] a scroll by [the hands [G3844] of the [G3588] priests [G2409] of the [G3588] Levites.
19: And [G2532] it will be with [G3326] him [G1473], and [G2532] he will read in [G1722] it [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] his life [G2222][G1473]; that [G2443] he should learn [G3129] to fear [G5399] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of him [G1473], to guard [G5442] all [G3956] the [G3588]se commandments [G1785][G3778], and [G2532] the [G3588]se ordinances [G1345][G3778] to do [G4160];
20: that [G2443] should not [G3361] be raised up high [G5312] the [G3588] his heart [G2588][G1473] above the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473]; that [G2443] he should not [G3361] transgress [G3845] from the [G3588] commandments [G1785], right [G1188] or [G2228] left ; so [G3704] that he should be a long time [G3118] in [G1909] the [G3588] his office [G1473] -- he [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473] among [G1722] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
