Deuteronomy Chapter 13 - | Early Church Bible

1: And if [G1437][G1161] there should rise up among [G1722] you [G1473] a prophet [G4396] or [G2228] one dreaming [G1797] dreams [G1798], and [G2532] he should give [G1325] to you [G1473] a sign [G4592] or [G2228] miracle [G5059],
2: and [G2532] it should come to pass [G2064] -- the [G3588] sign [G4592] or [G2228] the [G3588] miracle [G5059] which [G3739] he spoke [G2980] to [G4314] you [G1473], saying [G3004], We should go [G4198] and [G2532] serve [G3000] gods '[G2316] other [G2087] who [G3739] we do not [G3756] know [G1492].
3: You will not [G3756] hearken to the [G3588] words [G3056] of the [G3588] that prophet [G4396][G1565], or [G2228] the [G3588] [one] dreaming [G1797] the [G3588] that dream [G1798][G1565]; for [G3754] tests [G3985] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] you [G1473], the [G3588] to know [G1492], if [G1487] you love Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] from [G1537] entire [G3650] the [G3588] heart [G2588] your [G1473] and [G2532] from [G1537] entire [G3650] the [G3588] soul [G5590] your [G1473].
4: after [G3694] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] You will go [G4198], and [G2532] him [G1473] you will fear [G5399], and [G2532] the [G3588] commandments [G1785] of him [G1473] you will keep [G5442], and [G2532] the [G3588] his voice [G5456][G1473] you will hearken to , and [G2532] to him [G1473] you will serve [G1398], and [G2532] to him [G1473] you will be added to [G4369].
5: And [G2532] the [G3588] that prophet [G4396][G1565], or [G2228] the [G3588] [G3588] dream [G1798] dreaming [G1797] that one [G1565] will die ; for he spoke [G2980][G1063] to cause you to wander [G4105][G1473] from Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] (the the [G3588] [one] leading [G1806] you [G1473] from [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, the [G3588] ransoming [G3084] you [G1473] from [G1537] the [G3588] slavery [G1397]) to push [G1856] you [G1473] from [G1537] the [G3588] way [G3598] of which [G3739] gave charge [G1781] to you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] to go [G4198] by [G1722] it [G1473]. 6: But if [G1437][G1161] there should enjoin [G3870] you [G1473], the [G3588] your brother [G1473] from [G1537] father [G3962] of you [G1473], or [G2228] from [G1537] your mother [G3384][G1473], or [G2228] of the [G3588] your son [G5207][G1473], or [G2228] of the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of you [G1473], or [G2228] of the [G3588] woman [G1135] of you [G1473], or [G2228] one in [G1722] the [G3588] your bosom [G2859][G1473], or [G2228] the [G3588] friend [G5384] your [G1473] the [G3588] equal [G2470] [to the [G3588] your soul [G5590][G1473], in private [G2977] saying [G3004], We should go [G4198] and [G2532] should serve [G3000] gods '[G2316] other [G2087] which [G3739] neither [G3756] know [G1492] you [G1473] nor [G2532] the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473],
7: off the [G3588] gods '[G2316] of the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] the [G3588] surrounding you [G1473], of the [G3588] [ones] near [G1448] to you [G1473], or [G2228] of the [ones] the [G3588] far [G3112] from you [G1473], from uttermost part of the [G3588] land '[G1093], unto [G2193] uttermost part of the [G3588] land '[G1093];
8: you will not [G3756] acquiesce to him [G1473], and [G2532] you will not [G3756] hear [G1522] him [G1473], and [G2532] you will not [G3756] spare [G5339] the [G3588] your eye [G3788][G1473] upon [G1909] him [G1473], and you will not [G3756] show compassion [G1653] upon [G1909] him [G1473], nor [G3761][G3361] will you shelter him [G1473].
9: Announcing , you will announce concerning [G4012] him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your hand [G5495][G1473] will be upon [G1909] him [G1473] as [G1722] first [G4413] to kill him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] hand [G5495] of all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] upon [him [G1909] last [G2078].
10: And [G2532] they will throw stones at [G3036] him [G1473] with [G1722] stones [G3037], and [G2532] he will die ; for [G3754] he sought [G2212] to abstain you [G1473] from Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], the [G3588] [one] leading [G1806] you [G1473] from [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, from [G1537] house [G3624] of slavery [G1397].
11: And [G2532] all [G3956] Israel hearing , will fear [G5399], and [G2532] will not [G3756] add [G4369] to do [G4160] again [G2089] according to [G2596] the [G3588] matter [G4487] the [G3588] this wicked [G4190][G3778] among [G1722] you [G1473].
12: And if [G1437][G1161] it should be heard in [G1722] one [G1520] of the [G3588] your cities [G4172][G1473], which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] gives [G1325] to you [G1473] for you to dwell [G2730][G1473] there [G1563], saying [G3004],
13: came forth [G1831] Men lawbreakers from [G1537] you [G1473], and [G2532] left all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in the [G3588]ir city [G4172][G1473], saying [G3004], We should go [G4198] and [G2532] serve [G3000] gods '[G2316] other [G2087], which [G3739] you did not [G3756] know [G1492];
14: then [G2532] you will examine , and [G2532] will ask [G2065], and [G2532] will search exceedingly [G4970]; and [G2532] look [G2400], true [be] clearly [if] the [G3588] word [G3056] has taken place [G1096] the [G3588] abomination [that] this [G3778] among [G1722] you [G1473];
15: then by doing away with , you will do away with all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] the [G3588] that city [G4172][G1565] by [G1722] carnage [G5408] [of the] sword [G3162]; under anathema you will devote it to consumption [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] in [G1722] it [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] its cattle [G2934][G1473] by [G1722] mouth [G4750] of sword [G3162].
16: And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] its spoils [G4661][G1473] you will bring together [G4863] into [G1519] the [G3588] its corridors [G1473], and [G2532] you will burn [G1714] the [G3588] city [G4172] by [G1722] fire [G4442], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] its spoils [G4661][G1473] in full assembly before [G1725] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473]; and [G2532] it will be uninhabited into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `; it will not [G3756] be rebuilt again [G2089].
17: And [G2532] you will not [G3756] cleave to [G4347] anything [G3762] off that the [G3588] being offered up for consumption as anathema in [G1722] the [G3588] your hand [G5495][G1473] so that [G2443] BOSS should be turned away [G2962] from the [G3588] rage [G2372] of the [G3588] his anger [G3709][G1473], and [G2532] should grant [G1325] to you [G1473] compassion [G1656], and [G2532] should show compassion [G1653] on you [G1473], and [G2532] should multiply [G4129] you [G1473] in which [G3739] manner [G5158] BOSS swore by an oath [G3660][G2962] [to the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473];
18: if [G1437] you should hearken to [G1522] the [G3588] voice [G5456] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], to guard [G5442] all [G3956] the [G3588] commandments [G1785] of him [G1473], which [G3739] I [G1473] give charge [G1781] to you [G1473] today [G4594], to do [G4160] the [G3588] good [G2570] and [G2532] the [G3588] pleasing [thing] before [G1725] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473].
