1: These are [G3778] the [G3588] words [G3056] which [G3739] Moses spoke [G2980][G1473] to all [G3956] Israel on the other side [G4008] of the [G3588] Jordan, in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] towards [G4314] west [G1424], neighboring [G4139] the [G3588] red [G2063] sea [G2281], between Paran Tophel and [G2532] Laban, and [G2532] Canyons , and [G2532] Place Abounding in Gold .
2: eleven [G1733] days [G2250] from [G1537] Horeb [It is] a journey [G3598] by [G1909] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Seir unto [G2193] Kadesh Barnea.
3: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] for the [G3588]tieth year [G2094], in [G1722] the [G3588] eleventh [G1734] month [G3376], [day] one [G1520] of the [G3588] month [G3376], Moses spoke [G2980][G1473] to [G4314] all [G3956] sons [G5207] of Israel according to [G2596] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] BOSS gave charge [G1781][G2962] to him [G1473] for [G4314] them [G1473],
4: after [G3326] the [G3588] striking [G3960] of Sihon king of Amorites, the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] Heshbon, and [G2532] the [G3588] Og king of the [G3588] Bashan, the [G3588] [one] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] Astaroth and [G2532] in [G1722] Edrei.
5: On [G1722] the [G3588] other side [G4008] of the [G3588] Jordan, in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Moab, Moses began to make clear [G1285] the [G3588] this law [G3551][G3778], saying [G3004],
6: Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] spoke [G2980] to you [G1473] in [G1722] Horeb, saying [G3004], Let it be enough [G2427] for you [G1473] to dwell [G2730] in [G1722] the [G3588] this raised-place (mountain) '[G3735][G3778]!
7: turn [G1994] and [G2532] depart You [G1473], and [G2532] enter [G1531] into [G1519] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of Amorites, and [G2532] to [G4314] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] adjacent [G4040] to wilderness , to [G1519] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735], and [G2532] plain , and [G2532] to [G4314] south [G3047], and [G2532] coast [G3882] land '[G1093] of Canaanites, and [G2532] Antilebanon, unto [G2193] the [G3588] river [G4215] of the [G3588] great [G3173] Euphrates!
8: look [at] [G1492]! I have delivered up [G3860] before [G1799] you [G1473] the [G3588] land '[G1093]. Having entered [G1531], inherit [G2816] the [G3588] land '[G1093]! which [G3739] I swore by an oath [G3660] [to the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473], [to the [G3588] Abraham, and [G2532] Isaac, and [G2532] Jacob, to give [G1325] to them [G1473] and [G2532] to the [G3588]ir seed [G4690][G1473] after [G3326] them [G1473].
9: And [G2532] I said [G2036] to [G4314] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565], saying [G3004], I will not [G3756] be able [G1410] alone [G3441] to bear [G5342] you [G1473],
10: Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] multiplied [G4129] you [G1473]. And [G2532] look [G2400], you are today [G4594] as [G5616] the [G3588] stars of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] [in the [G3588] multitude [G4128].
11: Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473] may he add [G4369] to you [G1473] as [G5613] you are a thousand times more , and [G2532] bless [G2127] you [G1473] in so far as [G2530] he spoke [G2980] to you [G1473]!
12: How [G4459] will I be able [G1410] alone [G3441] to bear [G5342] the [G3588] toil [G2873] of you [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] support you [G5287][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your disputes [G1473]?
13: Appoint [G1325] to yourselves [G1438] men wise [G4680], and [G2532] having knowledge [G1990], and [G2532] discerning [G4908] among [G1519] the [G3588] your tribes [G5443][G1473]! And [G2532] I will ordain [G2525] them [G1473] over [G1909] you [G1473] [as] your leaders [G2233][G1473].
14: And [G2532] you answered to me [G1473], and [G2532] said [G2036], [is] good [G2570] the [G3588] saying [G4487] which [G3739] you spoke [G2980] to do [G4160].
15: And [G2532] I took [G2983] from [G1537] you [G1473] men wise [G4680], and [G2532] having knowledge [G1990], and [G2532] discerning [G4908] for [G1519] the [G3588] your tribes [G5443][G1473]. And [G2532] I ordained [G2525] them [G1473] to take the lead [G2233] over [G1909] you [G1473] -- commanders of thousands [G5506], and [G2532] commanders of hundreds [G1543], and [G2532] commanders of fifties , and [G2532] commanders of tens , and [G2532] judicial recorders [for the [G3588] your judges [G2923][G1473].
16: And [G2532] I gave charge [G1781] [to the [G3588] your judges [G2923][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565], saying [G3004], Hold a hearing [G1251] between the [G3588] your brothers [G1473], and [G2532] judge [G2919] justly [G1346] between a man and [G2532] between his brother [G1473], and [G2532] between foreigner [with] him [G4339][G1473]!
17: You will not [G3756] discriminate [G1921] [for] a person [G4383] in [G1722] a judgment [G2920]; concerning [G2596] the [G3588] small [G3397] and [G2532] according to [G2596] the [G3588] great [G3173] you will judge [equally [G2919]. In no way will you avoid [justice [G5288] [by accepting the] person [G4383] of a man , for [G3754] the [G3588] judgment [G2920] the [G3588] is of God '[G2316]. And [G2532] the [G3588] matter [G4487] which [G3739] ever [G1437] might be hard [G4642] for you [G1473], you will bear it [G1473] to [G1909] me [G1473], and [G2532] I will hear it [G1473].
18: And [G2532] I gave charge [G1781] to you [G1473] at [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565] all [G3956] the [G3588] words [G3056] which [G3739] you will do [G4160].
19: And [G2532] departing from out of [G1537] Horeb, we went through [G4198] all [G3956] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] the [G3588] great [G3173] and [G2532] the [G3588] dreadful [G5398] that [G1565], which [G3739] you looked [at] [G1492] by way [G3598] of raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of the [G3588] Amorite, in so far as [G2530] gave charge [G1781] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] to us [G1473]; and [G2532] we came [G2064] unto [G2193] Kadesh Barnea.
20: And [G2532] I said [G2036] to [G4314] you [G1473], You came [G2064] unto [G2193] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of the [G3588] Amorite, the [G3588] [one] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] gives [G1325] to you [G1473].
21: look [at] [G1492]! has delivered up [G3860] to you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] before [G4253] face [G4383] of you [G1473] the [G3588] land '[G1093]. going up , you inherit it [G2816]! in which [G3739] manner [G5158] spoke [G2036] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473] to you [G1473]. You should not [G3361] fear [G5399] nor [G3366] be timid [G1168].
22: And [G2532] came forward [G4334] to me [G1473] you all [G3956][G1473], and [G2532] said [G2036], You should send men in front [G4387] of us [G1473], and [G2532] let them explore for us [G1473] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] let them announce to us [G1473] an answer for the [G3588] way [G3598] through [G1223] which [G3739] we will go up by [G1722] it [G1473]! and [G2532] the [G3588] cities [G4172] into [G1519] which [G3739] we will enter [G1531] into [G1519] them [G1473].
23: And [G2532] was pleasing before [G1726] me [G1473] the [G3588] saying [G4487]. And [G2532] I took [G2983] from [G1537] you [G1473] twelve [G1427] men -- man one [G1520] according to [G2596] tribe [G5443].
24: And [G2532] turning [G1994] they went up into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735], and [G2532] came [G2064] unto [G2193] Ravine [G5327] of Cluster [G1009], and [G2532] they spied [G2684] it [G1473].
25: And [G2532] they took [G2983] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir hands [G5495][G1473] off the [G3588] fruit [G2590] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] carried it [G2702] to [G4314] you [G1473], and [G2532] said [G3004], [is] good the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] gives [G1325] to us [G1473].
26: And [G2532] you did not [G3756] want [G2309] to go up , but you resisted persuasion against the [G3588] word [G4487] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473].
27: And [G2532] you complained [G1234] in [G1722] the [G3588] your tents [G4633][G1473], and [G2532] said [G2036], Because [G1223] the [G3588] BOSS detested [G3404][G2962] us [G1473] he led us [G1806][G1473] out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, to deliver [G3860] us [G1473] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of Amorites, and [G2532] to utterly destroy [G1842] us [G1473].
28: Where [G4226] do we [G1473] go up ? the [G3588] And [G1161] our brothers [G1473] caused to abstain the [G3588] our heart [G2588][G1473], saying [G3004], tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] [It is] a great [G3173] and [G2532] populous [G4183], and [G2532] mightier [G1415] than we [G1473]; and [G2532] cities [G4172] great [G3173], and [G2532] walled unto [G2193] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]; moreover also [G2532] sons [G5207] of giants we saw [G3708] there [G1563].
29: And [G2532] I said [G2036] to [G4314] you [G1473], Do not [G3361] be alarmed , nor [G3366] fear [G5399] from them [G1473]!
30: Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], the [G3588] [one] going forth [G4313] before [G4253] face [G4383] of you [G1473], he [G1473] will join in making war against them [G1473] with [G3326] you [G1473], according to [G2596] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] he did [G4160] for you [G1473] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Egypt,
31: and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] this wilderness [G2048][G3778] which [G3739] you looked [at] [G1492], how as [G5613] nurtured you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473], as [G5613] if any [G1536] should nurture man the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473], according to [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588] way [G3598] into [G1519] which [G3739] you were gone [G4198], until [G2193] you came [G2064] unto [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778].
32: And [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] this word [G3056][G3778] you did not [G3756] entrust [to the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473],
33: who [G3739] goes forth [G4313] in front [G4387] of you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] way [G3598], to choose [G1586] for you [G1473] a place [G5117], guiding [G3594] you [G1473] by [G1722] fire [G4442] at night [G3571], showing [G1166] to you [G1473] the [G3588] way [G3598] by [G2596] which [G3739] you go [G4198] by [G1909] it [G1473], and [G2532] with [G1722] a cloud [G3507] by day [G2250].
34: And [G2532] BOSS heard [G2962] the [G3588] voice [G5456] of the [G3588] your words [G3056][G1473], and [G2532] he being provoked [G3947] swore by an oath [G3660], saying [G3004],
35: [will [G1487] see [G3708] any [G5100] the [G3588] men of these [G3778] the [G3588] wicked [G4190] the [G3588] land '[G1093] good this [G3778] which [G3739] I swore by an oath [G3660] [to the [G3588]ir fathers, [no [G3962][G1473].
36: except [G4133] Caleb son [G5207] of Jephunneh, this one [G3778] will see [G3708] it [G1473]; and [G2532] to this one [G3778] I will give [G1325] the [G3588] land '[G1093] upon [G1909] which [G3739] he mounted [G1910], and [G2532] [to the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473], because of [G1223] the [G3588] joining to himself [G1473] the [things] [G3588] of [G4314] Boss '[G2962].
37: And [G2532] at me [G1473] was enraged [G2373] Boss '[G2962] because of [G1223] you [G1473], saying [G3004], Nor should [G3761] you [G1473] in any way enter [G1525] there [G1563].
38: Joshua son [G5207] of Nun, the [G3588] [one] standing beside [G3936] you [G1473], this one [G3778] will enter [G1525] there [G1563]; you strengthen him [G1473][G2729]! for [G3754] he [G1473] will allot it [G1473] the [G3588] to Israel and [G2532] the [G3588] your children [G3813][G1473], which [G3739] you said [G2036] for [G1722] the [G3588] ravaging to be .
39: And [G2532] every [G3956] child [G3813] new [G3501], whoever [G3748] does not [G3756] know [G1492] today [G4594] good or [G2228] bad [G2556], this one [G3778] will enter [G1525] there [G1563], and [G2532] to these [G3778] I will give [G1325] it [G1473], and [G2532] to them [G1473] they will inherit [G2816] it [G1473].
40: And [G2532] you [G1473], in turning [G1994], encamped in [G1519] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048], the way [G3598] the [G3588] near [G1909] the [G3588] red [G2063] sea [G2281].
41: And [G2532] you answered and [G2532] said [G2036] to me [G1473], We sinned before [G1725] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473]; we [G1473], in going up , will wage war [G4170] according to [G2596] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] gave charge [G1781] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] to us [G1473]. And [G2532] taking up each [G1538] the [G3588] items [G4632] for the [G3588] his warfare [G1473], and [G2532] gathering together [G4867], went up into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735].
42: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], Say [G2036] to them [G1473], You will not [G3756] go up , nor wage war [G4170], not [G3756] for [G1063] I am with [G3326] you [G1473]; and [G2532] in no way will you be broken [G4937] before [G1799] the [G3588] enemies [G2190] of you [G1473].
43: And [G2532] I spoke [G2980] to you [G1473], and [G2532] you did not listen to [G3756][G1522] me [G1473], and [G2532] you violated [G3845] the [G3588] word [G4487] [of the] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] pressing [forward [G3849] you went up unto [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735].
44: And [G2532] came forth [G1831] the [G3588] Amorite the [G3588] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] the [G3588] that raised-place (mountain) '[G3735][G1565] to [G1519] meet [G4877] you [G1473]. And [G2532] they pursued [G2614] you [G1473] as [G5616] do [G4160] the [G3588] bees , and [G2532] pierced you [G1473] from Seir until [G2193] Hormah.
45: And [G2532] sitting down [G2523] you wept [G2799] before [G1726] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], and [G2532] did not [G3756] listen to [G1522] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your voice [G5456][G1473], nor [G3761] took heed [G4337] to you [G1473].
46: And [G2532] you laid in wait in [G1722] Kadesh days [G2250] many [G4183], as many as [G3745] at some other time [G4218] days [G2250] you laid in wait .
