2 Samuel Chapter 9 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] David said [G2036], Is there [G1487] anyone [G5100] still [G2089] left [G5275] from [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Saul, that [G2532] I should perform [G4160] with [G3326] him [G1473] an [act of] compassion [G1656] because of [G1752] Jonathan?
2: And [G2532] from [G1537] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Saul was a servant [G3816]; and [G2532] name [G3686] to him [G1473] [was] Ziba. And [G2532] they called [G2564] him [G1473] to [G4314] David. And [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473] the [G3588] king , You [G1473] are Ziba? And [G2532] he said [G2036], Your servant [G1401][G4674].
3: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] king , Is [G1487] there left [G5275] any [G2089] man from [G1537] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Saul, that [G2532] I should perform [G4160] with [G3326] him [G1473] an [act of] compassion [G1656] of God '[G2316]? And [G2532] Ziba said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] king , [There] still [G2089] is a son [G5207] [to the [G3588] Jonathan being stricken [G4141] of the [G3588] feet [G4228].
4: And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] the [G3588] king , Where [G4226] [is] this one [G3778]? And [G2532] Ziba said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] king , look [G2400], in [G1722] house [G3624] of Machir, son [G5207] of Ammiel. of [G1537] the [G3588] Lo-debar.
5: And [G2532] sent the [G3588] king David], and [G2532] took [G2983] him [G1473] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Machir, son [G5207] of Ammiel, of [G1537] the [G3588] Lo-debar.
6: And [G2532] comes [G3854] Mephibosheth son [G5207] of Jonathan son [G5207] of Saul] to [G4314] the [G3588] king David. And [G2532] he fell [G4098] upon [G1909] his face [G4383][G1473] and [G2532] did obeisance to [G4352] him [G1473]. And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] David], Mephibosheth! And [G2532] he said [G2036], look [G2400], the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473].
7: And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] David], Do not [G3361] fear [G5399], for [G3754] by dealing with [you [G4160] I will execute [G4160] with [G3326] you [G1473] an [act of] compassion [G1656] because of [G1223] Jonathan the [G3588] father [G3962] of you [G1473], and [G2532] I will restore to you [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] fields of Saul, father [G3962] of the [G3588] father [G3962] of you [G1473]. And [G2532] you [G1473] will eat [G2068] bread at [G1909] the [G3588] my table [G5132][G1473] always [G1275].
8: And [G2532] he did obeisance [G4352] to him [G1473], and [G2532] said [G2036], Who [G5100] am I the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473], that [G3754] you looked [G1914] upon [G1909] the [G3588] dog [G2965] the [G3588] dying [G2348] the [G3588] likened [G3664] to me [G1473].
9: And [G2532] called [G2564] the [G3588] king the [G3588] Ziba, the [G3588] servant [G3816] of Saul, and [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473], All [G3956] as much as [G3745] is to the [G3588] Saul, and [G2532] entire [G3650] the [G3588] house [G3624] of him '[G1473], I have given [G1325] to the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473].
10: And [G2532] will work [G2038] for him [G1473] the [G3588] land '[G1093] you [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your sons [G5207][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your servants [G1401][G1473]. And [G2532] you will carry in [G1533] to the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473] bread loaves , and [G2532] he will eat [G2068]. And [G2532] Mephibosheth son [G5207] of the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473] will eat [G2068] bread always [G1275] at [G1909] the [G3588] my table [G5132][G1473]. And [G2532] the [G3588] to Ziba were fifteen sons [G5207] and [G2532] twenty [G1501] servants [G1401].
11: And [G2532] Ziba said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] king , According to [G2596] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] gives charge [G1781] the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king [to the [G3588] his servant [G1401][G1473], so [G3779] will do [G4160] the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473]. And [G2532] Mephibosheth ate [G2068] at [G1909] the [G3588] table [G5132] of David as [G2531] one [G1520] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] king .
12: And [G2532] to the [G3588] Mephibosheth son [G5207] a small [G3397] there was , and [G2532] name [G3686] to name [G1473] [was] Micha. And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] household [G2731] of the [G3588] house [G3624] of Ziba [were] servants [G1401] [to the [G3588] Mephibosheth.
13: And [G2532] Mephibosheth dwelt [G2730] in [G1722] Jerusalem, for [G3754] at [G1909] the [G3588] table [G5132] of the [G3588] king he ate [G2068] always [G1275]. And [G2532] he [G1473] was lame [G5560] of both of the [G3588] his feet [G4228][G1473].
