1: And [G2532] David went through [G1330] a little [way [G3397] from the [G3588] Ros. And [G2532] look [G2400], Ziba the [G3588] servant [G3808] of Mephibosheth arrived [G2064] for [G1519] meeting him [G1473], and [G2532] a pair [G2201] of donkeys [G3688] being saddled , and [G2532] upon [G1909] them [G1473] two hundred [G1250] bread loaves , and [G2532] an ephah of dried grape [clusters , and [G2532] a hundred [G1540] dried [fruit] clusters , and [G2532] a skin flask of wine [G3631].
2: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] king to [G4314] Ziba, What [G5100] [are] these [G3778] to you [G1473]? And [G2532] Ziba said [G2036], the [G3588] donkeys [G3688] for the [G3588] household [G3624] of the [G3588] king the [G3588] to mount [G1910], and [G2532] the [G3588] bread loaves , and [G2532] the [G3588] dried [fruit] clusters , and [G2532] dried grapes for [G1519] food [G1035] to the [G3588] servants [G3808], and [G2532] the [G3588] wine [G3631] to drink [G4095] to the [G3588] [one] faint [G1590] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048].
3: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] king , Where [G4226] is the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473]? And [G2532] Ziba said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] king , look [G2400], he sits [G2521] in [G1722] Jerusalem, for [G3754] he said [G2036], Today [G4594] will return [G1994] to me [G1473] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Israel] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473].
4: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] king the [G3588] to Ziba, look [G2400], [I give to] you [G1473] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] is Mephibosheth's. And [G2532] Ziba said [G2036], I do obeisance [G4352], may I find [G2147] favor [G5484] in [G1722] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473], O my boss [G2962][G1473], O king .
5: And [G2532] came [G2064] the [G3588] king David] until [G2193] Bahurim. And [G2532] look [G2400], from there [G1564] a man came forth [G1607] from [G1537] family [G3965] of house [G3624] of Saul, and [G2532] name [G3686] to him [G1473] [was] Shimei, son [G5207] of Gera. He came forth [G1831] coming [G1607] and [G2532] cursing [G2672],
6: and [G2532] throwing stones [G3037] at [G1909] the [G3588] David, and [G2532] at [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] servants [G3816] of the [G3588] king David. And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] mighty ones [G1415] of [G1537] right [G1188] and [G2532] of [G1537] left of the [G3588] king .
7: And [G2532] thus [G3779] Shimei said [G2036] in [G1722] the [G3588] his cursing [G2672][G1473], Go forth [G1831]! go forth [G1831]! O man of the [G3588] blood [sheddings , and [G2532] O man the [G3588] lawbreaker .
8: returned [G1994] upon [G1909] you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] all [G3956] the [G3588] blood of the [G3588] house [G3624] of Saul, because [G3754] you reigned instead of him [G1473]. And [G2532] BOSS gave [G1325][G2962] the [G3588] government ' into [G1519] hand [G5495] of Absalom the [G3588] your son [G5207][G1473]. And [G2532] look [G2400], you [are taken [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] your [own] evil [G2549][G1473], for [G3754] [are] a man of blood you [G1473].
9: And [G2532] said [G2036] Abishai son [G5207] of Zeruiah] to [G4314] the [G3588] king , Why [G2444] curse [G2672] the [G3588] dog [G2965] the [G3588] dying [G2348] [does] this [G3778] the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king ? Let me pass [G1224] indeed [G1211]! and [G2532] I will remove the [G3588] his head [G2776][G1473].
10: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] king to [G4314] Abishai, What [G5100] [is it] to me [G1473] and [G2532] to you [G1473], sons [G5207] of Zeruiah? Even [G2532] leave him [G1473], and [G2532] thus [G3779] let him curse [G2672]! For [G3754] Boss '[G2962] said [G2036] to him [G1473] to curse [G2672] the [G3588] David. And [G2532] who [G5100] will say [G2046] to him [G1473], Why did [G5100] you do [G4160] thus [G3779]?
11: And [G2532] David said [G2036] to [G4314] Abishai, and [G2532] to [G4314] all [G3956] the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473], look [G2400], the [G3588] my son [G5207][G1473], the [G3588] [one] coming forth [G1831] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] my belly [G2836][G1473], seeks [G2212] the [G3588] life [G5590] of me [G1473]. And [G2532] moreover , now [G3568] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] Benjamite. Leave him [G1473] to curse [G2672]! for [G3754] told [G2036] him [G1473] Boss '[G2962].
12: If by any means [G1513] BOSS may look [at] [G1492][G2962] in [G1722] the [G3588] my humiliation [G5014][G1473], and [G2532] will return [G1994] good to me [G1473] for the [G3588] his curse [G2671][G1473] the [G3588] this day -- [so be it! [G2250][G3778]
13: And [G2532] David went [G4198], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] his men [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] way [G3598]; and [G2532] Shimei went [G4198] according to [G2596] the [G3588] side of the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735], being next to [G2192] him [G1473] -- he went [G4198], and [G2532] cursed [G2672], and [G2532] cast stones [G3037] on [G1909] him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] dirt [G5522] strewing .
14: And [G2532] went [G2064] the [G3588] king , and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] with [G3326] him [G1473] being faint [G1590]; and [G2532] they refreshed there [G1563].
15: And [G2532] Absalom, and [G2532] every [G3956] man of Israel entered [G1525] into [G1519] Jerusalem, and [G2532] Ahithophel [was] with [G3326] him [G1473].
16: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] when [G3753] came [G2064] Hushai the [G3588] chief friend of David] to [G4314] Absalom, that [G2532] Hushai said [G2036] [to the [G3588] Absalom, As lives [G2198] the [G3588] king ! As lives [G2198] the [G3588] king !
17: And [G2532] Absalom said [G2036] [to the [G3588] Hushai, Is this [G3778] the [G3588] your act of kindness [G1656][G1473] with [G3326] the [G3588] your companion [G2083][G1473]? Why did [G2444] you not [G3756] go [G4198] with [G3326] the [G3588] your companion [G2083][G1473]?
18: And [G2532] Hushai said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] Absalom, No [G3780], but [following] after whoever [G3739] BOSS chooses [G1586][G2962], and [G2532] the [G3588] this people [G2992][G3778], and [G2532] every [G3956] man of Israel. [serving] to him [G1473] I will be and [G2532] with [G3326] him [G1473] I will sit down [G2521].
19: And [G2532] the [G3588] secondly [G1208], to whom [G5100] will I [G1473] serve [G1398]? [Should I] not [G3780] [serve] before [G1799] the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473]? Just as [G2509] I served [G1398] before [G1799] the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473], so [G3779] I will be before [G1799] you [G1473].
20: And [G2532] Absalom said [G2036] to [G4314] Ahithophel, Give [G1325] for yourselves [G1438] counsel [G1012] what [G5100] we should do [G4160].
21: And [G2532] Ahithophel said [G2036] to [G4314] Absalom, Enter [G1525] to [G4314] the [G3588] concubines of the [G3588] father [G3962] of you [G1473]! which [G3739] he left behind [G2641] to guard [G5442] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473]. And [G2532] will hear all [G3956] Israel] that [G3754] you disgraced [G2617] the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473], and [G2532] will grow in strength [G1765] the [G3588] hands [G5495] of all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] with [G3326] you [G1473].
22: And [G2532] they pitched [G4078] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] Absalom upon [G1909] the [G3588] roof [G1430], and [G2532] Absalom entered [G1525] to [G4314] the [G3588] concubines of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], in [G1722] eyes [G3788] of all [G3956] the [G3588] Israel.
23: And [G2532] the [G3588] counsel [G1012] of Ahithophel, which [G3739] he consulted [G1011] in [G1722] the [G3588] days [G2250] the [G3588] first [G4413], [was] in which [G3739] manner [G5158] [as if] he should ask [G1905] anything [G5100] by [G1722] word [G3056] of the [G3588] God '[G2316]; thus [was [G3779] all [G3956] the [G3588] counsel [G1012] of the [G3588] Ahithophel, both [G2532] [to the [G3588] David and [G2532] [to the [G3588] Absalom.
