2 Corinthians Chapter 1 - | Early Church Bible

1: Paul, a sent one (apostle) ' of Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547], through [G1223] will [G2307] of God '[G2316], and [G2532] Timothy the [G3588] brother , to the [G3588] assembly [G1577] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], to the [G3588] [one] being in [G1722] Corinth, with [G4862] the [G3588] [ones] pure ' all [G3956], to the [G3588] [ones] being in [G1722] all [G3650] the [G3588] Achaia.
2: Favor [G5484] to you [G1473] and [G2532] peace [G1515] from God '[G2316] father [G3962] of us [G1473] and [G2532] Boss '[G2962] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547].
3: Blessed [be [G2128] the [G3588] God '[G2316] and [G2532] father [G3962] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547], the [G3588] father [G3962] of the [G3588] compassions [G3628], and [G2532] God '[G2316] of all [G3956] comfort [G3874];
4: the [one] [G3588] comforting [G3870] us [G1473] in [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] our affliction [G2347][G1473], for [G1519] the [G3588] enabling [G1410] us [G1473] to comfort [G3870] the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] every [G3956] affliction [G2347], through [G1223] the [G3588] consolation [G3874] of which [G3739] we are comforted [G3870] in ourselves [G1473] by [G5259] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
5: For [G3754] as [G2531] abound [G4052] the [G3588] sufferings [G3804] of the [G3588] Anointed "'[G5547] in [G1519] us [G1473], so [G3779] through [G1223] Anointed "'[G5547] also abounds [G4052][G2532] the [G3588] our comfort [G3874][G1473].
6: But whether [G1535][G1161] we are afflicted [G2346] for [G5228] the [G3588] your [G1473] comfort [G3874] and [G2532] deliverance [G4991] of the [G3588] [one] being energized [G1754] in [G1722] endurance [G5281] of the [G3588] same [G1473] sufferings [G3804], which [G3739] also [G2532] we [G1473] suffer [G3958],
7: (and [G2532] the [G3588] hope [G1680] of us [G1473] is firm for [G5228] you; [G1473]) or whether [G1535] we are comforted [G3870], [it is] for [G5228] the [G3588] your [G1473] comfort [G3874] and [G2532] deliverance [G4991]; knowing [G1492] that [G3754] as [G5618] partners [G2844] you are of the [G3588] sufferings [G3804], so [G3779] also [G2532] of the [G3588] comfort [G3874].
8: not [G3756] For [G1063] we do] want [G2309] you [G1473] to be ignorant , brothers , as to [G5228] the [G3588] our affliction [G2347][G1473], of the [G3588] [one] happening [G1096] to us [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] Asia, that [G3754] in [G2596] excess [G5236] we were weighed down beyond [G5228] power [G1411], so as for [G5620] us to be destitute [G1820][G1473] even [G2532] [of the [G3588] living [G2198].
9: But we [G1473] in [G1722] ourselves [G1438] the [G3588] sentence of the [G3588] death [G2288] have had [G2192], that [G2443] not [G3361] relying [G3982] we should be upon [G1909] ourselves [G1438], but upon [G1909] the [G3588] God '[G2316], the [G3588] [one] raising [G1453] the [G3588] dead [G3498].
10: Who [G3739] from out of [G1537] such a [G5082] death [G2288] rescued [G4506] us [G1473], and [G2532] does rescue [G4506]; in [G1519] whom [G3739] we have hope [G1679] that [G3754] also [G2532] still [G2089] he will rescue [G4506];
11: working along with [G4943] you also [G2532][G1473] for [G5228] us [G1473] the [G3588] [by] supplication [G1162], that [G2443] by [G1537] many [G4183] persons [G4383] the [G3588] to [G1519] us [G1473] favor [G5486] through [G1223] many [G4183] should be for giving thanks [G2168] for [G5228] you [G1473].
12: for the [G3588] [G1063] our boasting [G2746][G1473] this [G3778] is -- the [G3588] testimony [G3142] of the [G3588] our conscience [G4893][G1473], that [G3754] in [G1722] singleness and [G2532] honesty [G1505] of God '[G2316], (not [G3756] in [G1722] wisdom [G4678] of flesh '[G4559], but by [G1722] favor [G5484] of God '[G2316]) we behaved in [G1722] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889], and more exceedingly [G4056][G1161] to [G4314] you [G1473].
13: For not [G3756][G1063] another [thing] [do] we write [G1125] to you [G1473], other than [G2228] what [G3739] you read or [G2228] also [G2532] recognize [G1921]; and I hope [G1679][G1161] that [G3754] even [G2532] until [G2193] end [G5056] you will recognize [G1921];
14: as [G2531] also [G2532] you recognized [G1921] us [G1473] in part [G3313]; for [G3754] boasting [G2745] we are your [G1473], just as [G2509] also [G2532] you [are [G1473] ours [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] day [G2250] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]).
15: And [G2532] in this [G3778] the [G3588] reliance [G4006] I was wanting [G1014] to come [G2064] to [G4314] you [G1473] prior [G4387], that [G2443] a second [G1208] favor [G5484] you should have [G2192];
16: and [G2532] by [G1223] you [G1473] to go through [G1330] into [G1519] Macedonia, and [G2532] again [G3825] from Macedonia to come [G2064] to [G4314] you [G1473], and [G2532] by [G5259] you [G1473] to be sent forward [G4311] into [G1519] the [G3588] Judea.
17: This [G3778] then [G3767] planning [G1011], lest anything [G3385] it the [G3588] in lightness [G1644] did I treat [G5530]? or [G2228] what [G3739] I planned [G1011], according to [G2596] flesh [G4561] did I plan [G1011] that [G2443] there might be by [G3844] me [G1473] the [G3588] yes [G3483], yes [G3483], and [G2532] the [G3588] no [G3756], no [G3756]?
18: But trustworthy [G4103][G1161] the [G3588] [is] God '[G2316], that [G3754] the [G3588] our word [G3056][G1473] the [G3588] to [G4314] you [G1473] became not [G3756][G1096] yes [G3483] and [G2532] no [G3756].
19: For the [G3588][G1063] the [G3588] son of God '[G2316][G5207], Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547], the [G3588] [one] among [G1722] you [G1473] by [G1223] us [G1473] being proclaimed [G2784], (by [G1223] me [G1473] and [G2532] Silas and [G2532] Timothy,) was not [G3756][G1096] yes [G3483] and [G2532] no [G3756], but yes [G3483] in [G1722] him [G1473] became [G1096].
20: For as many [G3745][G1063] promises [G1860] of God [there are [G2316], in [G1722] him [G1473] [is] the [G3588] yes [G3483], and [G2532] in [G1722] him [G1473] the [G3588] amen tO the [G3588] God '[G2316] for [G4314] glory [G1391] by [G1223] us [G1473].
21: And the [G3588] [one] [G1161] firming us [G1473] with [G4862] you [G1473] unto [G1519] Anointed "'[G5547], and [G2532] having anointed [G5548] us [G1473], [is] God '[G2316];
22: even the [G3588] [one] [G2532] setting a seal upon [G4972] us [G1473], and [G2532] having given [G1325] the [G3588] deposit of the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] in [G1722] the [G3588] our hearts [G2588][G1473].
23: And I [G1473][G1161] [as] witness [G3144] the [G3588] call upon God '[G2316][G1941] upon [G1909] the [G3588] my [G1699] soul [G5590], that [G3754] sparing [G5339] you [G1473], no longer [G3765] did I come [G2064] to [G1519] Corinth.
24: Not [G3756] that [G3754] we dominate [G2961] of yours [G1473] of the [G3588] trust '[G4102], but we are fellow-workers [G4904] of the [G3588] yjoy [G5479] of us [G1473]; for in the [G3588][G1063] trust '[G4102] you stand [G2476].
