1: Then [G5119] Solomon said [G2036], Boss '[G2962] spoke [G2036] the [G3588] to encamp [G2681] in [G1722] dimness [G1105].
2: And [G2532] I [G1473] have built [G3618] a house [G3624] [to] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473] pure ' to you [G1473], and [G2532] prepared [G2092] the [G3588] to encamp [G2681] into [G1519] the [G3588] ages (terms) `.
3: And [G2532] turned [G1994] the [G3588] king the [G3588] his face [G4383][G1473], and [G2532] he blessed [G2127] all [G3956] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] of Israel. And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] of Israel stood by [G3936].
4: And [G2532] he said [G2036], Blessed be [G2128] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, who [G3739] spoke [G2980] by [G1722] his mouth [G4750][G1473] to [G4314] David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], and [G2532] by [G1722] his hands [G5495][G1473] he fulfilled [G4137], saying [G3004],
5: From the [G3588] day [G2250] which [G3739] I led the [G3588] people [G2992] of me [G1473] from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, I did not choose [G3756][G1586][G1722] a city [G4172] from all [G3956] tribes [G5443] of Israel the [G3588] to build [G3618] a house [G3624] the [G3588] to be for the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] there [G1563], and [G2532] I did not choose [G3756][G1586] a man the [G3588] to be for [G1519] leader [G2233] over [G1909] the [G3588] people [G2992] of me [G1473] Israel.
6: And [G2532] I chose [G1586] the [G3588] Jerusalem the [G3588] to be [G1096] for the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] there [G1563], and [G2532] I chose [G1586] the [G3588] David the [G3588] to be above [G1883] the [G3588] people [G2992] of me [G1473] Israel.
7: And [G2532] it came [G1096] upon [G1909] heart [G2588] of David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473] the [G3588] to build [G3618] a house [G3624] to the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel.
8: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], Because [G1360] it was [G1096] upon [G1909] your heart [G2588][G1473] the [G3588] to build [G3618] a house [G3624] [to the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473], well [G2573] you do [G4160], for [G3754] it was [G1096] upon [G1909] your heart [G2588][G1473].
9: Except [G4133] you [G1473] will not [G3756] build [G3618] to me [G1473] a house [G3624], for [G3754] the [G3588] son [G5207] of you [G1473] who [G3739] comes forth [G1831] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] your loin [G3751][G1473], he [G1473] will build [G3618] the [G3588] house [G3624] [to the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473].
10: And [G2532] BOSS established [G2962] the [G3588] word [G3056] which [G3739] he spoke [G2980]. And [G2532] I became [G1096] instead of David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], and [G2532] I sit down [G2523] upon [G1909] the [G3588] throne [G2362] of Israel, as [G2531] BOSS said [G2980][G2962], and [G2532] I built [G3618] the [G3588] house [G3624] to the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel.
11: And [G2532] I put [G5087] there [G1563] the [G3588] ark [G2787], in [G1722] which [G3739] [is] located [G1563] the [G3588] covenant [G1242] [of the] Boss '[G2962], which [G3739] he ordained [G1303] the [G3588] with Israel.
12: And [G2532] he stood [G2476] before [G1726] the [G3588] altar [G2379] of Boss '[G2962], before [G1725] all [G3956] assembly [G1577] of Israel, and [G2532] he opened and spread out the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473].
13: For [G3754] Solomon made [G4160] platform a brass [G5470], and [G2532] he put [G5087] it [G1473] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] courtyard of the [G3588] temple [G2413] -- five [G4002] cubits [G4083] the [G3588] [was] its length [G3372][G1473], and [G2532] five [G4002] cubits [G4083] the [G3588] [was] its breadth [G1473], and [G2532] three [G5140] cubits [G4083] the [G3588] [was] its height [G5311][G1473]. And [G2532] he stood [G2476] upon [G1909] it [G1473], and [G2532] he bent [G2578] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his knees [G1119][G1473] before [G1726] all [G3956] assembly [G1577] of Israel, and [G2532] he opened and spread out the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
14: And [G2532] he said [G2036], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588] Israel, there is no [G3756] likened [G3664] to you [G1473] God '[G2316] in [G1722] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], nor [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], keeping [G5442] the [G3588] covenant [G1242], and [G2532] the [G3588] [showing] compassion [G1656] [to the [G3588] your children [G3816][G1473], to the [G3588] [ones] going [G4198] before [G1726] you [G1473] with [G1722] all [G3650] their heart [G2588][G1473],
15: which [G3739] you kept [G5442] [with] the [G3588] servant [G3816] of you [G1473] David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], which [G3739] you spoke [G2980] to him [G1473]; and [G2532] you spoke [G2980] by [G1722] your mouth [G4750][G1473], and [G2532] by [G1722] your hands [G5495][G1473] you fulfilled [it [G4137], as [G5613] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
16: And [G2532] now [G3568], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, keep [G5442] [with] the [G3588] servant [G3816] of you [G1473] David, the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], what [G3739] you spoke [G2980] to him [G1473], saying [G3004], There will not [G3756] fail [G1587] to you [G1473] a man from [before my face [G4383][G1473] sitting [G2521] upon [G1909] throne [G2362] of Israel, if only [G4133][G1437] should guard [G5442] the [G3588] your sons [G5207][G1473] the [G3588]ir way [G3598][G1473] the [G3588] to go [G4198] by [G1722] the [G3588] my law [G3551][G1473], as [G5613] you went [G4198] before [G1726] me [G1473].
17: And [G2532] now [G3568], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, let be trustworthy [G4104] indeed [G1211] the [G3588] your saying [G4487][G1473], which [G3739] you spoke [G2980] [to the [G3588] your manservant [G1401][G1473] David.
18: For [G3754] will [G1487] truly dwells [G2730] God '[G2316] with [G3326] men upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]? If [G1487] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] and [G2532] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] [is] not [G3756] sufficient to you [G1473]; then [G2532] what [G5100] the [G3588] [is] this house [G3624][G3778] which [G3739] I built [G3618]?
19: And [G2532] should you look [G1914] upon [G1909] the [G3588] prayer [G4335] of the [G3588] your manservant [G1401][G1473], and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his supplication [G1162][G1473], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473], the [G3588] to heed [G1873] the [G3588] supplication [G1162] and [G2532] the [G3588] prayer [G4335], which [G3739] the [G3588] your manservant [G1401][G1473] prayed [G4336] before [G1726] you [G1473] today [G4594];
20: the [G3588] to be for the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473] open unto [G1909] the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778] day [G2250] and [G2532] night [G3571], in [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778] which [G3739] you said [G2036] to call upon [G1941] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473] there [G1563]; the [G3588] to hear the [G3588] prayer [G4335] which [G3739] prayed [G4336] the [G3588] your manservant [G1401][G1473] in [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778].
21: Then [G2532] will you hear the [G3588] supplication [G1162] of the [G3588] your manservant [G1401][G1473], and [G2532] of the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel, in what [G3739] ever they should pray [G4336] to [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778]. And [G2532] you [G1473] will hear from [G1537] the [G3588] place [G5117] of the [G3588] your dwelling [G2731][G1473] -- from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]; and [G2532] you will hear and [G2532] will be propitious [G2436].
22: If [G1437] should sin a man [against the [G3588] his neighbor [G4139][G1473], and [G2532] he takes [G2983] upon [G1909] him [G1473] an oath the [G3588] to cause him to make an oath [G1473], and [G2532] he should come [G2064] and [G2532] make an oath against [G2713] the [G3588] altar [G2379] in [G1722] the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778];
23: then [G2532] you [G1473] will listen [G1522] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] will act [G4160], and [G2532] will judge [G2919] the [G3588] your servants [G1401][G1473], the [G3588] to recompense to the [G3588] lawless one , and [G2532] to recompense his ways [G3598][G1473] upon [G1519] his head [G2776][G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] to do justice [G1344] [to the] just [G1342], the [G3588] to recompense to him [G1473] according to [G2596] the [G3588] his righteousness [G1343][G1473].
24: And [G2532] if [G1437] should be devastated [G2352] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel] before [G1799] an enemy [G2190], if [G1437] they should sin against you [G1473], and [G2532] should turn [G1994], and [G2532] should acknowledge [G1843] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473], and [G2532] should pray [G4336], and [G2532] should beseech [G1189] before [G1726] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778];
25: then [G2532] you will listen [G1473][G1522] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] you should be propitious [G2436] to the [G3588] sins of the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel, and [G2532] will return them [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] you gave [G1325] to them [G1473] and [G2532] [to the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473].
26: [And] in [G1722] the [G3588] holding together [G4912] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] there is no [G3361][G1096] rain [G5205], because [G3754] they sinned against you [G1473], and [G2532] they pray [G4336] to [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778], and [G2532] confess [G1843] [to] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473], and [G2532] from the [G3588]ir sins [G1473] they will turn [G1994], because [G3754] you will humble [G5013] them [G1473];
27: then [G2532] you [G1473] will listen [G1522] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] will be propitious [G2436] to the [G3588] sins of the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel, that [G3754] you will make manifest [G1213] to them [G1473] the [G3588] way [G3598] the [G3588] good , in [G1722] which [G3739] they will go [G4198] by [G1722] it [G1473]. And [G2532] you will put [G1325] rain [G5205] upon [G1909] the [G3588] your land '[G1093][G1473], which [G3739] you gave [G1325] [to the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] for [G1519] an inheritance [G2817].
28: If famine [G3042][G1437] happens [G1096] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], if plague [G2288][G1437] happens [G1096] -- wind-blown [blight , jaundice ; locust and [G2532] grasshopper if [G1437] there should be [G1096]; and [G2532] if [G1437] should afflict [G2346] it [G1473] the [G3588] its enemies [G2190][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] against [G2713] the [G3588] its cities [G4172][G1473], according to [G2596] every [G3956] calamity [G4127] and [G2532] every [G3956] misery [G4192];
29: then [G2532] every [G3956] prayer [G4335], and [G2532] all [G3956] supplication [G1162], whichever [G3739][G1437] should be [G1096] by any [G3956] man , and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel, if [G1437] should know [G1097] a man his infection [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] his infirmity [G3119][G1473], and [G2532] should open and spread out the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473] to [G1519] the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778];
30: then [G2532] you [G1473] will listen [G1522] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], from [G1537] prepared [G2092] home [G2732] your [G1473], and [G2532] you will atone [G2433], and [G2532] will give [G1325] to a man according to [G2596] the [G3588] his ways [G3598][G1473], as [G5613] you should know [G1097] the [G3588] his heart [G2588][G1473]; (for [G3754] you [G1473] most only [G3441] know [G1097] the [G3588] heart [G2588] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of men. )
31: So that [G3704] they should fear [G5399] you [G1473], the [G3588] to go [G4198] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] your ways [G3598][G1473], all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] which [G3739] they [G1473] should live [G2198] upon [G1909] face [G4383] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], of which [G3739] you gave [G1325] to the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473].
32: And [G2532] also [G1065] every [G3956] alien who [G3739] not [G3756] is of [G1537] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel, and [G2532] he should come [G2064] from out of [G1537] a land '[G1093] far off [G3113] because of [G1223] the [G3588] name [G3686] your [G1473] the [G3588] great [G3173], and [G2532] the [G3588] hand [G5495] your [G1473] for the [G3588]tified [G2900], and [G2532] the [G3588] arm [G1023] your [G1473] the [G3588] high [G5308]; and [G2532] should come [G2064] and [G2532] should pray [G4336] in [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778];
33: then [G2532] you [G1473] will listen [G1522] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], from [G1537] prepared [G2092] home [G2732] your [G1473], and [G2532] you will do [G4160] according to [G2596] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] should have called upon [G1941] you [G1473] the [G3588] alien ; so that [G3704] should know [G1097] all [G3956] the [G3588] peoples [G2992] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] your name [G3686][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] to fear [G5399] you [G1473], as [G5613] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel, and [G2532] the [G3588] to know [G1097] that [G3754] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473] is called [G1941] upon [G1909] the [G3588] [in] this house [G3624][G3778] which [G3739] I built [G3618].
34: And if [G1437][G1161] should go forth [G1831] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] for [G1519] war [G4171] against [G1909] the [G3588] its enemies [G2190][G1473], in [G1722] way [G3598] which [G3739] you will send them [G1473], and [G2532] they should pray [G4336] to [G4314] you [G1473] towards [G2596] the [G3588] way [G3598] of the [G3588] this city [G4172][G3778] which [G3739] you chose [G1586], towards [G1722] it [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] which [G3739] I built [G3618] [to] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473];
35: then [G2532] you will hear from out of [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] the [G3588]ir prayer [G4335][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir supplication [G1162][G1473], and [G2532] will do [G4160] the [G3588]m justice [G1345][G1473].
36: For [G3754] they will sin against you [G1473], (for [G3754] there is not [G3756] a man who [G3739] will not [G3756] sin, ) and [G2532] if [G1437] enraged [G2373] over [G1909] them [G1473], and [G2532] you should deliver [G3860] them [G1473] before [G2596] face [G4383] of enemies [G2190], and [G2532] will take them captive [G1473] the [G3588] [ones] capturing into [G1519] a land '[G1093] far [G3112] or [G2228] near [G1451];
37: and [G2532] they should turn [G1994] their heart [G2588][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of which [G3739] they were taken captive there [G1563], and [G2532] they will turn [G1994] and [G2532] should beseech [G1189] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of their captivity [G1473], saying [G3004], We sinned , we acted lawlessly , and [G2532] we acted impiously ;
38: and [G2532] they should turn [G1994] towards [G4314] you [G1473] with [G1722] all [G3650] their heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] with [G1722] all [G3650] their soul [G5590][G1473] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of their being taken captive [G1473], of which [G3739] they took them captive [G1473] there [G1563], and [G2532] they should pray [G4336] [in the] way [G3598] of their land '[G1093][G1473], of which [G3739] you gave [G1325] [to the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] of the [G3588] city [G4172] of which [G3739] you chose [G1586], and [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] of which [G3739] I built [G3618] [to] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473];
39: then [G2532] you will hear from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], from [G1537] prepared [G2092] home [G2732] your [G1473], the [G3588] of their prayer [G4335][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir supplication [G1162][G1473], and [G2532] you will make [G4160] the [G3588]ir case [G2917][G1473], and [G2532] you will be propitious [G2436] to the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588] sinning against you [G1473].
40: And [G2532] now [G3568], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316], let be indeed [G1211] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473] open , and [G2532] the [G3588] your ears [G3775][G1473] attentive to [G1519] the [G3588] supplication [G1162] of the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778]!
41: And [G2532] now [G3568], rise up O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] in [G1519] the [G3588] your rest [G2663][G1473], you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] your strength [G2479][G1473]! the [G3588] Your priests [G2409][G1473], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316], will clothemselves [G1746] in deliverance [G4991], and [G2532] the [G3588] your sacred ones [G3741][G1473] will be glad [G2165] in [G1722] good [things] .
42: O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316], you should not [G3361] turn the [G3588] face [G4383] of the [G3588] your Anointed "'[G5547][G1473]. Remember [G3403] the [G3588] mercies [G1656] of David the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473]!
