1 Samuel Chapter 24 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] Saul returned from [going] after [G3693] the [G3588] Philistines , that [G2532] they reported to him [G1473], saying [G3004], look [G2400], David [is] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] of En Gedi.
2: And [G2532] he took [G2983] with [G3326] himself [G1438] three [G5140] thousand [G5505] men chosen [G1588] from out of [G1537] all [G3956] Israel, and [G2532] he went [G4198] to seek [G2212] the [G3588] David and [G2532] the [G3588] his men [G1473] by [G2596] face [G4383] of the [G3588] trap [G2339] of the [G3588] hinds .
3: And [G2532] he came [G2064] unto [G1909] the [G3588] convoys ' of the [G3588] flocks [G4168] of the [G3588] [ones] upon [G1909] the [G3588] way [G3598]. And [G2532] was there [G1563] a cave [G4693], and [G2532] Saul entered [G1525] to make preparation [G3903]. And [G2532] David and [G2532] the [G3588] his men [G1473] [were] in [G1722] the [G3588] cave [G4693] inside sitting down [G2521] in [G1722] it [G1473].

5: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] after [G3326] these [things] [G3778], that [G2532] struck [G3960] David's heart [G2588] him [G1473], for [G3754] he removed the [G3588] border [G4419] of the [G3588] his double garment [G1473].
6: And [G2532] David said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] his men [G1473], By no means [G3365] [be it] to me [G1473] from [G3844] Boss '[G2962] if [G1487] I should do [G4160] the [G3588] this thing [G4487][G3778] [to the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473], to the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547] of Boss '[G2962], to bear [G2018] my hand [G5495][G1473] against [G1909] him [G1473], for [G3754] Anointed "'[G5547] [of the] Boss '[G2962] this [G3778] is .

10: look [G2400], in [G1722] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778] have seen [G3708] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473] how [G5613] delivered [G3860] you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] today [G4594] into [G1519] my hands [G5495][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] cave [G4693], and [G2532] I did not [G3756] want [G1014] to kill you [G1473], and [G2532] I spared [G5339] you [G1473]. And [G2532] I said [G2036], I will not [G3756] bear [G2018] my hand [G5495][G1473] against [G1909] the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473], for [G3754] Anointed "'[G5547] [of the] Boss '[G2962] this one [G3778] is .

But [G2532] you [G1473] bind [G1195] the [G3588] life [G5590] of me [G1473] the [G3588] to take [G2983] it [G1473].
12: May BOSS judge [G2919][G2962] between me [G1473] and [G2532] you [G1473], and [G2532] may render justice [G1556] to me [G1473] Boss '[G2962] because [G1537] of you [G1473]. But the [G3588][G1161] my hand [G5495][G1473] will not [G3756] be against [G1909] you [G1473].
13: As [G2531] says [G3004] the [G3588] paralell '[G3850] the [G3588] ancient , from [G1537] lawless will come forth [G1831] Trespass . But [G2532] the [G3588] my hand [G5495][G1473] will not [G3756] be against [G1909] you [G1473].
14: And [G2532] now [G3568], after [G3694] whom [G5100] do you go forth [G1607], O king of the [G3588] Israel? After [G3694] whom [G5100] do you pursue [G2614][G1473]? After [G3694] a dog [G2965] having died [G2348], or [G2228] after [G3694] flea one [G1520]?
15: May BOSS be [G1096][G2962] for [G1519] a judge [G2923] and [G2532] magistrate [G1348] between me [G1473] and [G2532] you [G1473]. Yes [G2532], may BOSS look [at] [G1492][G2962], and [G2532] may he judge [G2919] the [G3588] case [G2920] of me [G1473], and [G2532] may he adjudicate for me [G1473] from out of [G1537] your hand [G5495][G1473].
16: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096], as [G5613] David completed [G4931] speaking [G2980] the [G3588]se things [G4487][G3778] to [G4314] Saul, that [G2532] Saul said [G2036], Is the [G3588] voice [G5456] this your [G1473][G3778], son [G5043] David? And [G2532] Saul lifted up [G1869] the [G3588] his voice [G5456][G1473] and [G2532] wept [G2799].
17: And [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] David, You [are] righteous [G1342][G1473] over [G5228] me [G1473], for [G3754] you [G1473] recompensed to me [G1473] good [things] , but I [G1473][G1161] recompensed to you [G1473] evils [G2556].
18: And [G2532] you [G1473] have reported today [G4594] what [G3739] you did [G4160] to me [G1473] good [things] , as how [G5613] locked me [G1473] Boss '[G2962] into [G1519] the [G3588] your hands [G5495][G1473] today [G4594], and [G2532] you did not [G3756] kill me [G1473].
19: And [G2532] that [G3754] if [G1487] anyone may find [G2147][G5100] the [G3588] his enemy [G2190][G1473] in [G1722] affliction [G2347], and [G2532] will send him forth [G1599][G1473] in [G1722] way [G3598] a good , even [G2532] Boss '[G2962] will recompense to him [G1473] good [things] , as [G2531] you [G1473] have done [G4160] today [G4594].
20: And [G2532] now [G3568], look [G2400], I [G1473] know [G1097] that [G3754] in reigning you will reign , and [G2532] will be established [G2476] the [G3588] government ' of Israel] in [G1722] your hand [G5495][G1473].
21: And [G2532] now [G3568] swear by an oath [G3660] to me [G1473] according to [G2596] Boss '[G2962], that [G2443] you should not utterly destroy [G3361][G1842] the [G3588] my seed [G4690][G1473] after [G3694] me [G1473], and [G2532] you should not obliterate [G3361] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] from [G1537] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473].
22: And [G2532] David swore by an oath [G3660] the [G3588] to Saul. And [G2532] Saul went forth unto [G1519] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473]. And [G2532] David and [G2532] the [G3588] his men [G1473] went up unto [G1519] Messara the [G3588] narrows [G4728].
